Kitti Minx [ Blog ] Addressing the Concept of "Haters"

People like to use the word "haters" without understanding the context of the term itself and why it would warrant using. Now it just seems to be used to brush off people who disagree with or dislike something about a person. Which just isn't necessary. On my blog I decided to You are not allowed to view links. Interesting topic and you make some great points. To me a “hater” isn’t someone with a different opinion or perspective either, but is a person that consistently engages in behavior I would define as toxic.
In the context of social media, I consider toxic behavior to be constant negativity and continuous disaparagment and disrespect to others and the opinions they provide.

I see it thrown around a lot pretty frivolously. Someone calls out a Lady for less than ethical brothel behavior or party selling tactics? They're just a "hater" and shouldn't be listened to. And on the greater internet you see it a LOT by online entertainers who can't handle when they do something legit wrong and get called out. The best example would be Logan Paul. He went to Japan, went to a famous park for having a "suicide forest", on purpose went off the marked trailed, found a REAL DEAD BODY, FILMED IT AND HIS REACTION, then UPLOADED IT.... and acted shocked that people were calling him out for that. He even used the image of this real dead person in the video thumbnail and titled the video WE FOUND A DEAD BODY. He used a dead person for views. And was shocked when people outside his fanclub reacted negatively. Then he and his posse just brushed off those dissenters as "haters" and not people with valid perspectives.

A hater is someone who is always negative about pretty much anything. There's certain people in the LPIN community who never seem to have much of a positive thing to say about houses, Ladies, or other customers yet still stick around and make their voices heard - I'd consider them "haters".  Not everyone is going to have the same interest in houses and Ladies - that's why there's such great diversity of us. I doubt I have any "haters" in LPIN. Some may disagree with me on my progressive views on growing the industry, or may not be into my "alternative" look and geek-centric niche interests - but I wouldn't call them "haters" because so far no one has really hammered in to bully me about any of that. Meanwhile I have seen Ladies who say something, and people simply disagree with them or point out where the Lady might be wrong, and that's the end of discourse because she brushes off differing opinions or even people correcting her on misinformation as "haters".

It's just getting to be such an overused word that most people seem to have forgotten the meaning of.  Archie Bunker and Eric Cartman - those are classic og haters. A disagreement or someone not liking you for valid reasons isn't exactly a "hater".

If a person disagrees, I don't consider them a hater.

However, if they are down on everything, whether it be the weather, their neighbor, the driver on the freeway, the tree in the park, I call them a hater.

There are some people that are very predictable on hating whatever subject come up.  On some of the forums, we see a few that hate on everything.  They even search for topics to hate on.
