Stardust Ranch closed

Post by adventurer »

I saw in the news there was a death on site at the Stardust Ranch Brothel and it is closed.

On Yelp someone claiming to be the former manager says it was a drug overdose. Future up in ther air until city council meeting.

Sad news to hear. Brothels are meant to be a place of happiness, joy, and livliness.

I spent a lot of time at the Stardust in the early 1990s; my ATF worked there for about two years.  That place got busy, a lot of guys in the mining business would come in there on Friday night and the rest of the weekend, too. Those girls made a lot of money, as did the brothel itself. In case anyone was there then, my ATF was Mimi, her friends were Debbie and Allana, they were beautiful. I'm sure none of them are in the business any more. May not even still be alive!

I think it's a shame that people bring a bad name to the legal brothel business. There are those of us who are law-abiding citizens who just want some professional sex, and people that are involved in illegal drugs mess it up for everybody. Look what happened in Elko last year when Mona's got shut down because a bartender was caught with drugs and shut the place down for several months.

Mikey, It was open a few months ago when I was there.  I swear that the same two ladies were there in 1998  : :)

BTW, The Stardust has is back open again with a new owner!
It's more about the journey than the destination!

Postings elsewhere quote a newspaper article stating that it is back open.
