Just wondering if this is the first time a Lady from Mound House hasn’t been included in the finals?


I know there are many great Ladies there & am surprised none were finalist. Maybe it’s just a case of too many great options that split the vote?

2019 is the first contest since at least 2006 that there has not been a Mound House COY Finalist.  There were Mound House COY finalists for the contest years 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 & 2006.  It's unknown for the contest years 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 & 2001, since the finalist records were lost; however, a Mound House Courtesan won for the years 2000, 1999, 1998 & 1997, so there was at least one Mound House COY finalist.

It is surprising that a Mound House Courtesan was not a finalist for 2019, but the competition is fierce.
