Calling National Sexworkers Day something as disgusting and degrading as National Whores Day is the lowest of the low. I am not a whore and if you call yourself one you shouldn't be in this business. You should be ashamed of yourselves if you degrade the rest of use like that!

Let me make it clear. I do not tolerate or condone this kind of ignorance and stupidity among any sexworker and if you call yourself that you are not welcome here. The same with hooker and any member that says it again will have a problem with me.

There are no hookers or whores here!

That's other sexworkers I am talking about. Girls who call themselves that and the word hooker. Like it's a badge of honor or something. I guess they think it's cut and funny. They make if harder by spreading that perception and using a word that is derogatory about for the rest of us. They don't deserve to be in this industry if they are going to do stupid shit like that.

I have no use for them at all.

Sex workers are constantly referring to themselves as hookers & Ho’s as if it’s a badge of honor.
If they want their profession to be given respect they need to stop referring to themselves with the negative derogatory terms. What first comes into a persons mind when those terms are used? I’m thinking a drugged out street walker is what comes to mind. How are they ever going to get respect if that’s the image people see?
You can say it’s the people’s fault & yes it is but that’s the image that’s Been out there forever so why not drop it & use something classier?
A Lady can ask any price and the client can always walk. If you accept her offer it's on you so don't bitch about it!

If you wanted to be treated as worthy of respect, you have to market yourself as worthy of respect.

In college a Native American group asked for funding for a pow-wow.  They were turned down.

They came back and asked for funding for a Native American cultural experience.  They got the money.

@rachel...  also wish the CWMC name would be changed.. cool in the 90's, not so respectful today.  Sex workers should be respected.  I also think all ladies that are sex workers should screen their clients on social media and forums.  There are a lot of disrespectful assholes out there that are all chummy in person and use some very vulgar shit when not in person.  Of course if your salacious in person and online, that's just you... don't be fake.

We've been seeing a lot of sex workers speaking out on the social injustice front lately on twitter... on some forums you see the opposing viewpoints... those mongers better hope the ladies have short memories.  ;)

BTW Rachel, you're a professional... and a lady, a tough one at times.. but, a lady.

No one uses cwmc anymore. Q dropped it off of his forum a long time ago and I worked with the awards commitee to change it to LPIN Awards.

Times change and I think lpin reference can be changed to LCIN. Legal Courtesans In Nevada. Prostitution is a legal term and it really is referenced as something seedy or dirty in modern culture.
