I'm restoring an old pickup truck.  It's been a work in process, but I decide that I'm gonna learn how to do body work.  I've been covered with Bondo dust for the last 3 weeks!  I'm also learning sheet metal work and welding.  It's very rewarding to see the progress.  I also make weekly runs to the pull-a-part for "junkyard therapy."  It's become my nature time.

Since I took an early retirement when I hit 63, staying at home isn't a big problem for me, but I miss traveling.  I already do most of my own cooking, so there's not much change there. :)

I do have more time for some of my hobbies (other than visiting the brothels ...LOL).  I've been playing guitar on/off since I was in high school, so I have more time to learn some new tunes.  I think I mastered the art of being a couch potato, since I've been watching way more shows/movies on cable and the internet than before the pandemic. ;D

I also spend an excessive amount of time online and playing VR games, since I have an Oculus Rift S VR headset and an Oculus GO.  Although, I have a couple of VR games that are actually good for working out, so I do get some form of exercise ...LOL

Even though one might thing you're saving $$$ by staying home, the rising cost of groceries, ordering takeouts/deliveries from local restaurants, etc. isn't helping.  I've also been a good boy and haven't spent too much ordering stuff on Amazon ...LOL  The only non-essential order I made since the lockdown was for a Mavic Mini Drone which I've been flying around the house and off of my balcony.  Although, I can't fly it too far with all the trees and whatnot in the area. 8)

Check out the size of this beast.  ;D  Sounds like I’m bragging and I am but, not what you’re thinking:

Haven't really tried anything new, but this is the longest I've ever been out on the road. Been out since February 25th. Have over 25k miles in. I usually try to go home for 4 days each month. I've had a few days off here and there because I'm required to by law. Have to take 34 hours off after 70 hours of driving.

Has put a few thing in perspective. Thinking about selling my house and getting a P.O. box. I just don't see any reason to have a permanent address. The money is great, my truck is comfortable, and I have everything I need.

I used to be a big gamer so I tried jumping back into a few mmo’s but was quickly bored as I now prefer personal interactions and physical activities.

I did take a few hikes out in areas I’ve never been.

Mainly, I got a new girlfriend and have been screwing her brains out as a way to pass the time and that has helped me tremendously in keeping my sanity. It also helps that she is sexy as hell and keeps me wanting more so I think we are both helping tide each other over until the stupidity ends.

I should be thankful but mainly I’m angry and resent the fact I’ve missed out on so many life experiences the last several months.

There are times where I miss those days. Although it's been a good 10 years. Time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time. There were just things I found I'd rather be doing. Plus I got older which was murder on my reflexes.

I try not to mention it much anymore. Still too many stigmas.

Thanks Roxy  :)   I wouldn’t necessarily define it as a relationship lol but more of a mutual physical attraction with lots of great sex. It’s definitely been my silver lining, no doubt about it.

Progress is slow!  I've been fixing all the mechanicals over the past 3 years, but have I've procrastinated with the body work until now.  It's an old Chevy with 328,000 miles!  It does help pass the time during the lockdown.  I hope to have it completed by fall.

I myself have gone stir crazy. Must of us on the east coast are waiting fir May 15 to come. It’s like everyone wants to break out of jail or something. But we might be in for disappointment cause the city is not ready to open up. Send me another stimulus check I’ll be ok. There is some excitement running through me to return to the brothels. Different from all the other times. Can’t wait. Never thought I’d stay home and cook. I’m use to eating out every night. Those days are over for a while. The delivery did not work out. It cost money to pay workers when no money is coming it it’s hard. I’ve survived the wave so far.

Yeah, I've replaced damn near everything under the hood, plus tires, shocks, brakes, steering, and interior.    In the end, I probably could have bought a new one for all the money I've spent.  I does keep me busy during this lockdown.  : :)
