When will the brothels get back to normal?

No, this is not a "when do you think the brothels will open" question.  This is how long will it take them to get back to normal once they do open.  I see Nevada starting to slowly open back up but the Casinos are no where near where they were at,  business wise. Just on weekends as far as I can see.  Lots of people walking up and down the strip but there is a difference between locals getting out of the house and those actually coming to Vegas to spend money.  I would assume it's the same with the brothels who need people who travel for the specific purpose of spending money at the brothels.

So will people come pouring back to the brothels? Will it be like a grand opening where it's busy at first and then dead?

My own feeling is the economy will play a huge role?  Stimulus money for going to the brothel?  It can't hurt![/size]

This is a detour from your request, but I'm interested in something you said.  You said business in the casinos is down.  I don't go to casinos because they don't interest me, but every time I've seen one in the movies they have a empty floor space in between the tables and then people tightly packed at the tables.  Could you say how the casinos have changed?

• Limiting number of people allowed inside
• Limiting number of people at each table
• Mask requirements/plexiglass separators between people at tables

, or some combination of the three?

And are they still using chips, or have they gone electronic?

I see a long road ahead for the Nevada brothels.  I don't see clients racing back right away...  some clients may never return after experiencing alternate forms of "entertainment."    The rest of Nevada has to get back to normal first for the non-monger clientele, ie: conventions, gaming, vacationers, etc. 

There are a number of things that the brothels could do such as offering incentives, discounts, and specials, but I don't see that happening with the current mindset.    I think many of the regular mongers are still trying to recover financially and some have just moved on never to return. 

We will see...

During the pandemic, the Vegas casinos have been the busiest over the weekends (Friday-Sunday), since people from neighboring states drive to Vegas.  Weekdays, some of my local friends have told me that it's been less crowed and often dead.  Although, more people have started going, now that they've eased up on some of the restriction on hotel, casino, and restaurant capacity.

Masks, social distancing, plexiglass for table games, etc. are probably going to be around for awhile, since the pandemic isn't over yet. 

Boyd Gaming recently implemented cashless slots at some of their local casinos including the Blue Chip Casino in Indiana which I visit occasionally.  I haven't been there recently, but I'm sure it'll come to Vegas in the near future.

...and to keep this somewhat on topic  ;D, until Vegas gets back to normal again with there big conventions and tourists flying in from all over the country, I think the brothels will have a long road ahead of them to get back to where they were before the pandemic hit.

You are right DR. Who. I have close friends and a god daughter living in Vegas and they are hurting. On march 1st, they can go to 50% occupancy in the Casinos but they can't even get enough people to fill the 35% they're allowed right now. I think the brothels are going to be exactly the same.  It might even be enough to keep half the Hof branded brothels on Kit Kat Ln closed even when they're allowed to open back up at least until the business comes back.[/size]

I think the regular mongers have been ostracized by the current outdate prices.  This has certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.  Most of us simply cannot afford such high prices.

I can see a lot of hard feelings when things do open up again.  Will those same people support the houses that have left them out in the cold?

We think so much has changed that things. Things might just not be the same.  We would say the one exception may be the rural NE brothels. 

So many girls have retired, moved to onlyfans only, independent escorting, etc... that it will take a long time to fully staff the houses.  Girls that moved into Indy escorting realized they could charge $xxxx amount with out a house split (of course brothels are safer and legal).

Look at the Chicken Ranch website. They are advertising a sort of grand reopening May 1st at 12:01 am.  Thy've already listed about eight of their mostly regular girls, including Dahlia and Lexy. I think that they have the right attitude even if they may be "betting on the come." No pun intended, really! I mean, the Governor has not stated it in stone that the reopen will happen has he? I personally think the next thing the brothels ought to do once they know about it, is to put forth some offers, such as free rooms, a BBQ or discount coupons. I agree that a lot of business will be lost due to the conventions not going on as well as out of town gamblers not coming in as much.

I think women becoming escorts could move significant business away from the brothels.  But onlyfans may be oversaturated.  I heard that a lot of women moved to onlyfans when they lost their jobs (not just sex workers) and googled "number of onlyfans creators" and got "over 90 million registered users and over one million creators".  I've no doubt that some women are making a lot of money there, but splitting the pie one million ways means a lot of creators won't be able to make a living.

Living in Nevada and visiting my local casino 7 days a week I can tell you that Monday -Thursday is dead. Easy  parking right up front. The weekends are full of tourists that can drive in, but  few long distance tourists.

The brothels I think may have a big re-opening weekend, but will taper off for a while after. I am in no big hurry to go back. Preferring to wait and see how the virus progresses and how the houses conduct their business.

I do know that the Paris casino raised their parking rates for customers to $12 per car. No business and they raise rates?? I have some fear that other businesses will do the same to recoup the losses suffered during 2020.

Correction for Sidey, the 50% capacity for Nevada is March 15th,  no March 1st.

Apparently, Chicken Ranch is ramping up for a regular gig. I haven't heard a peep out of Sherris or the rural houses. We all know Mustang seems to be forging ahead to the extent possible at least with the "escort" business. They will be game ready when the law allows full on brothel open business as usual.
