But over time I saw that so many guys really enjoy pleasing me and I just let it happen. I started liking it more because it made guys happy and I like to see people happy. I mean I am in the business of making people feel good right. Now I have no issues with it but I don't say yes to everyone. Some people you just don't want their mouth on you.
I just wanted to show how this job can change your point of view on some things sexual and you have to have an open mind sometimes. Not everything though. I am never going to offer anal. Lol. That's for another post.

We changed too over time. Not sure how long we will visit brothels but, for now we have been having fun experiencing different things. Our thoughts were the same as yours. I remember your story about the lady that was as you put it not so fresh.. I will only say you are a much braver man then me.
I declined that offer from that particular lady.

I don't want to misrepresent your question, but I think you're asking "Why bother using a dam with a lady from a brothel since they only do safe sex and have weekly medical checks?". And you've got a good point. The risk of her having an STD is very low. But if she were to get one I wouldn't know what it would be, so the danger could potentially be high.
Also, I don't have an aversion to using the dam. I understand that it kills the experience for you, but for me it's a mild speed bump. So great peace of mind at an insignificant cost.
(P.S. They also make these things with 4 different flavors or unflavored - so it switches things up.)

For me it’s not about pleasing my partner. That was a large part of it when I was younger, in my 20s and 30s, but as I get older, and especially in a pay for play situation, it becomes work and I’m not that into working these days. For me I just find a lady’s vulva attractive and stimulating. It may be a type of fetish. I agree completely! We are allowed to change our opinions and preferences. Earlier in my career, I offered a lot more BDSM type things than I do now. The activities are still fun, but ugh all that equipment was such a pain (haha!) to lug around and take care of. Combine that with the customers who liked those kinds of parties being few and far between, it was more trouble than it was worth.
