Happy New Year to all from a very cold and windy SE Nebraska. Wish I was in front of a fireplace with one of the many lovelies at a ranch under a warm blanket drinking hot chocolate.

There are 5 to 10 mph southeast winds. 7056-foot elevation Donner Pass (Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains 9 miles west of Truckee, California off Interstate 80) measured a record high 202 inches of snow (nearly 17 feet) for December 2021. Donner Pass is 42 miles from Reno, Nevada.
