Songs you used to like but now hate!

I was driving to a meeting today and the song “Cats in the Cradle” came on. I had to change the station!
When I was younger and didn’t pay too much attention to the lyrics and didn’t have kids of my own I loved this song now I hate it!
Maybe being a parent and realizing how much love and attention children need is what changed me?
Now when I hear the song all I hear is about a dad who never had time for his son and then passes that attitude on to his son!
Not something that should be celebrated in song!

Any songs you no longer like and why?

Those "ear worm" tunes that once you hear them, they get stuck in your head all day long and drive you crazy ...LOL.  A few examples that I can think of right now... "It's A Small World", "Gangnam Style", "Macarena".  :o

I love Led Zeppelin, and I won't say hate, but anything off the fourth album, they've been played to death. Freebird- I worked in a bar in
Manhattan Kansas when it came out and it was played on the jukebox over and over every night. Oddly enough though I still like Sweet
Home Alabama and it was played a lot as well.

There are certain songs and albums that I used to love but can no longer stand because I associate them with a former lover. Particularly if they broke my heart or something.
