An update on me

Here’s what’s going on with me as of late.

For years, I’ve been having issues with my left shoulder. But now, I have a herniated disc and a pinched nerve in my neck that is causing my left arm to hurt. My arm is also weakened and half numb. I’m on FMLA and I have neck surgery coming up. I’m nervous about that but I can’t do much with this going on.

Here’s hoping it all goes smoothly and I can return to work.

Update:

On Monday, I had surgery. I’m doing better now. I’m up and about. I have my post op appointment scheduled and I hope to return to work soon.

I am glad to hear that you got this behind you. I know what a worry it is having something like that hovering above you. I hope you will be able to heal and get back to the things that you like to do. Don't be discouraged if things sometimes take longer to heal. You may also have times when things get temporarily worse. But you will get though this--keep telling yourself that.
