The LPIN 22 Awards Nomination Round Opened February 1st. 
The automated ballot casting system is operational, so it won't be necessary to email ballots.  If a registered voter is unable to cast their ballot or has questions, please PM the "LPIN Awards Committee" or "Admin" handles or email vote@lpinawards.com for assistance.

Note: Voters must cast ballots using their voter registration email address and not their LPIN Awards board profile email address since they may be different.

Registered Voters are urged to register as LPIN Awards board members so they may PM communicate with LPIN Awards Committee members or the "LPIN Awards Committee" handle.  Note: LPIN Awards board registration is separate from voter registration, and registration email addresses may be different too.

Clarification to registered voters of the ballot casting rule.  Voters will not be allowed to change their vote once a previous ballot has been received and accepted.  However, if a voter submits an invalid ballot with an incorrect email address for instance they may submit a corrected ballot with a different candidate selection.  In summary, once a voter's ballot has been received and accepted, follow up ballots will be ignored and no changes will be made.

V. b) Registered Voters will be allowed to submit only one nomination or one vote in each round of the contest for each of the three categories.  Each person is allowed only one ballot in each of the three contest rounds.  A voter will not be allowed to change their vote once it has been submitted and accepted.  Only the first valid ballot in a given round will be accepted by that handle with follow-up ballots being ignored.

Note: A registered voter's ballot will be considered officially received and accepted once their handle appears on the Current list of LPIN 22 Registered Voters that participated in the 2017 Awards without any notation that their ballot has been rejected.

Rachel, that's probably true and the awards committee wants every registered voter to be able to cast a Nomination Round Ballot if they desire. 

Registered voters may vote in all three rounds of the contest or whatever rounds they choose.

Only those people whose handles appear on the LPIN 22 Awards Registered Voters List may cast ballots in the contest.

Voters won't appear on the List of LPIN 22 Registered Voters that participated in the 2017 Awards until they cast their Nomination Round ballot.  Please refer to this list for all three rounds of the contest since it will be separated into Nomination, Preliminary & Final Round sections.

These are the LPIN 22 Nominees for 2017 Courtesan, Brothel & Rural Brothel of the Year to this point in time. However, the Nomination Round doesn't end until 2/28/18.

LPIN 22 Awards schedule of voting rounds:
Nomination Period begins February 1 and ends midnight February 28, 2018 PST.
Preliminary Voting Round begins March 4 and ends midnight March 31, 2018 PDT.
Final Voting Round begins April 4 and ends midnight April 30, 2018 PDT.
LPIN Awards will be Presented at the LPIN Awards Banquet on July 20, 2018.

I think a big issue is that most of us do not go on the LPIN Awards site and read through the things.

The LPIN Brothels that were open for business during 2017 and eligible for nomination are listed on the dropdown menus of the Nominating Form.

Courtesans are eligible for nomination if they worked at one of the LPIN Brothels during 2017.
(Official Rule 1. b) Courtesan of the Year (COY) - Working Girls must have been active in LPIN during a portion of the calendar year 2017 to be eligible for Courtesan of the Year nomination.  If a Lady has previously won COY, she is ineligible regardless of her working name.)

The Top 5 COY, BOY & RBOY candidates from the Preliminary Voting Round will proceed as Finalists to the Final Voting Round on 4/4/18.

The LPIN Awards Nomination Round ENDS Midnight 02/28/18 PST.

The LPIN Awards Committee had initially stated that voters would be emailed ballots; however, that wasn't necessary because Rachel Varga configured HTML Forms for our automated voting system.  Thank you Rachel Varga, since you made the LPIN Awards contest ballot casting more efficient and allowed the committee to concentrate on coordinating the LPIN 22 Awards contest!

The LPIN Awards website was recently established in August 2017 with Rachel Varga's assistance, and the LPIN Awards committee wouldn't have been able to administer a 2017 awards contest without Rachel Varga's support! 

A few registered voters may not have been aware of the LPIN Awards website existence.  Therefore, the awards committee sent emails to all registered voters on 02/19/18 who hadn't cast Nomination Round Ballots.  Subsequently, there have been an additional 11 Nomination Round ballots cast since that time.  Unfortunately, there are 4 registered voters whose emails were returned undeliverable.
