Positive thought of the day

Lately we are allowing negative people to invade our space. Let’s try to forget them for a minute and think on a positive note. Like today I will stay in bed order food and watch tv all day and spend quality time with myself.

Finished pouring 1,000 square feet of concrete yesterday. Gonna jump on the Harley and clear my head today. Heck I may stop by the ranch for lunch and visit with the ladies.  8)

Showered, shaved and cut my long finger nails.  Heading out to a Mexican restaurant where they have gluten free food and a coaches show on the upcoming college game on Saturday.

As I continue recovering from a stroke 2 years ago next month: it seems like I am able to do something new each week that I was unable to do the previous week. With therapy I am getting so close to walking without a cane, I can almost taste it. Being able to type with two hands is still a ways off. But I am so happy seeing daily progress.

A positive thought for me is to take a quick run out West to spend some time at the Mustang or go down south of there and still West for me to the CR or, for the first time go to Elko. Unfortunately, it is only a thought as far as this month goes. Sometimes when I am trying to get to sleep, I think back over various trips and it brings me more positive thoughts and I drift off to sleep.

First day of fall my favorite time of year.

Here in the Chicago area, a high of 70, nice and sunny, no humidity. I like summer but am glad when the hot and humid days are gone. Fall is welcome.

I’m on vacation in New York and I have been in bed resting, ordering food and watching tv for 5 days straight. I deserve to be lazy. It feels great.
