It didn't work out at Moundhouse

#1

Post by Sonja »

Promises were broken with mind-numbing speed, to the point I wondered if I was losing my mind.

To be clear, I had already resigned at Love Ranch Vegas and had plans to get back to my life in TN & FL.  Suzette lured us to Moundhouse with job offers and an appealing compensation package as well as promises of a reliable chain of command & management support.  I have resisted going up North for years but I was very excited by the time I accepted this job.  After a 6 day cross country road trip in the RV, I arrived.  Doctored on the way there, got my Sheriff's card the next morning and booked a substantial party within hours of being on the floor.  I met with Suzette and shared all the suggestions from clients about what we could do to improve the house.  Day 2, another party & a deposit posted. Day 3, finally got moved in, and with permission from Suzette & guidance from the Cashier, hung some pictures in the house.  And THAT was the end of my career at Moundhouse.

The next morning I awoke to an email banning me from Love Ranch for a week & forbidding me from communicating with the ladies online.  Suzette said she would meet with me Thursday to discuss my role there.  Instead, she fired me via email on Wed., then told me to come in on Thursday and she would get back with me about my role there.  Suzette never got back to ME - but told the staff to treat me like any other working girl.  No one in upper management returned texts or emails and, this morning I am "banned" from the Bunny Board.

The whole experience felt like I slid down the rabbit hole and landed in a Nightmare Wonderland with an insane Queen intent on destroying me. The quick transition from the happy welcoming Suzette who seduced me into going there vs. the bitter, angry Suzette I got on my arrival created a barometric energy akin to Kathy Bates in Misery when she walked in and told James Caan, "I'm feeling blue today".

This is an unprecedented experience in my life (thankfully).  I am a serious pumpkin and very earnest about my work ethic.  I'm loyal as a dog to people who have been good to me and I am obsessive about keeping my promises.  I'm not a bridge burner.  In fact, I have never burned a bridge.  But I'm throwing a match on this one.

Every time I think I've done it all - some new experience smacks me upside the head.  And now, life will go on in a different direction.

I know exactly how you guys feel, everytime I become interested in meeting a lady, she leaves.

I do hope things work out for you, Sonja, in whatever you decide to do.  If the Moundhouse brothels don't want to change and get with the times, that's on them.  Given the negative things that have been said about Suzette, this is probably a good thing you won't have to deal with her anymore.
Wondering if I should change my username to Shyron-Man87

We all know there are two sides to every story and the story teller will always slant the story to put themselves in a positive light. That being said with what I’ve learned of Suzette over the years this is in character with how she operates.

Best of luck to you on your next adventure Sonja!

I think you’re better off away from the Hof empire, always better to see true colors earlier than later.

Suzette melting down and firing people on the spot seems to be her MO. I believe that's what happened to Kandi, and if I recall it was Taylor who she made fun of for having epilepsy a few years ago, according to Rachel. Cami Parker in Dennis's own book said Suzette and "daddy" sung Another One Bites the Dust while Cami packed, and I've seen her retweet mean tweets from ladies about other ladies.

I don't have a dog in this fight but based on previous accusations from several others I think Sonja was at the very least gaslighted and treated unfairly. That said I have absolutely nothing against any of the ladies at LRN who have different opinions of Suzette. Or any of the ladies at any ranch, period. Different strokes blah blah blah.

Many thanks.

This was so fast  it's taking me awhile to process what happened.  The easy reflex is to stereotype people.  We are all flawed but we are all people.  It's hard to hate people up close and I was up close.  I still wish Team Bunny Ranch success & prosperity.  We are a small community and it is not in anyone's best interest to turn on one another.  The ladies at LRN working through the holidays need attention.  Give it to them.

I'll be fine - I am lucky and my life is good. Heading to FL nudist resorts for the winter.

Bummed to hear it didn't work out for You. Happy to hear You are going to FL Nudist Resorts this winter! Right On! Wish I could go with You and Your Husband. Nudist Resorts are really nice, laid back kind of places (though I've never been to East Coast ones). Clothes are such a pain and pinch in the shoulders, crotch, waist, etc. Funny story - I was having a drink one evening right outside the hot tubs area and this 'new couple' I had noticed a little earlier was there and while He was in the 'proper attire', She had never dis-robed (street clothes). As I introduced Myself and We began to talk, I kept trying to put my left hand in my slacks pocket. I was doing this without thinking of it and after a few minutes She saw me attempting it again and burst out laughing. It occurred to me that this was what She was laughing  at and I sort of waved my hand in the air and said "I guess it's not gonna fit, huh?". We all got a good laugh out of that and She was obviously then much more comfortable and said to Her Mate "Alright, next time I'll go buff too!"    ;D

Haha. Love it.  Very nudist story.  Yes, I like the laid back open minded attitude.

Got home and settled back in just in time for all the community holiday parties.  Went from Snow, sleet, 20 degree weather to flip flops and nothing else weather.  Going to take the bike out for a ride today - it's been cooped up in storage for the past month. Yee Haw!
