Thoughts On Wishlists

I was think that now is a good time for girls to update their wishlist for things they really need. I am going to update mine later today. By the way, I am not try to guilt trip any of you guys. It's a suggestion for any girls that read the forum. I have written about this before.

Here are some thoughts on wishlists.

  • Two pages max because no one wants to go through thirty pages of panties and perfume. I see it all the time and I just shake my head.
  • Add things you really need, not panties, perfume, and diamond bracelets. I used to have just one really high dollar item in case I got lucky. Then I figured out that an iPad was a third of the cost and ten times better so I took that off. I'm going to put something ridiculous on there.
  • At least one gift card because sometimes people want you to get whatever you want.
  • Put realistic items that are not expensive because I'm sorry, most people can't afford to buy you a $3000 bracelet. It's okay to have but put again be realistic.

The only thing I would say to guys is this. If a girl doesn't have panties or sexy clothes don't ask them to add that. If they wanted it then it would be already there. I got enough of that stuff already and it isn't really remembered because it just goes in a pile of stuff we have a ton of. Which is why it baffles me that girls have that kind of stuff.

Questioning something is really rude. I had a guy ask me why I wanted a Nerf gun. To shoot your stupid ass. I am more fortunate than people back home so I send them stuff. Oh another one was why would I want a Gamestop card. Girls don't play games? Actually my niece wanted to give her boyfriend a birthday gift so I bought the digital code and gave it to her so she could get him something. Those are things that I don't forget someone buying for me.

So if you can, maybe check your ATF's wishlist and see if she has something not expensive. Just an idea.

It’s no longer there that I see, someone already snatched it up for you!

Love to show appreciation to the ladies  :) Amazon Gift Cards or Visa Gift Cards are my preference, but I'll buy or send things to those I think will enjoy. Amazon Gift Cards can be put into their account on Amazon to build up, so the lady can purchase higher or lower priced items. It's all good, and thank you ladies  :-*

FumbleNutts and isurfer both have my votes! Oh wait... can I vote twice??? :)

But that award is a double edge sword. You can easily hurt others feelings picking specific out. There are a lot of nice guys and they are unique.

I could list them all but I will forget someone and they wlll think I don't care when it's really I can't remember everyone.

I didn't mean to say that you picked out anyone in my last post. Fumble is a really nice guy and isurfer is too. But totally different.

Nothing came off wrong. I don't think anyone is upset. I wouldn't worry about it.

I totally know what you meant! :) There are so many special people who we are grateful that they are in our lives. The two of them came to mind right away for being stand up dudes who take good care of us ladies and help out other board members with stand up advice. :)

I love all the information on setting up a easily accessible wish list. I have seen girls use a variety of apps and websites. What is the easiest for gentleman to use or for the ladies to create? Any comments or suggestions too?

Do you mean like creating your own website, or using a particular vendor like Amazon?

I would say Amazon is the most accessible to people. Amazon wishlists are easy to setup, and you can have your home address hidden if that's where you want stuff mailed to.

Edit: Some items can't be mailed to wishlist addresses though. Third party sellers sometimes require address verification for billing purposes. And you wouldn't want to make your home address public.

Drew,

Hands down Amazon is easiest. You can set it up where the buyer will not see your address. One important thing about that is this. Always choose products that say "Fulfilled by Amazon". If someone buys from anything but an Amazon fulfilled item someone can get your address.

Just always pick Amazon Fulfilled products.
