How far along has Mr gone in his training? Has he soloed yet?Phoenix link wrote: So.... I didn’t let the thought go. Mrs is onboard. I think later in the year, the Mr will work in getting a personal pilot license. Could be a pipe dream but, we hate flying commercial so....
Anyone besides Drew into flying?
I can understand that. Do you still have your pilot license?MrTShirt link wrote: Was. Now hard to get into a small plane. Not wheelchair accessible.
A Cessna 337 is about the best bet.
Heck no, just starting. Doing the physical and starting to study for the exam before booking the actual flights. I've heard this speeds things up a bit I really think it will be fun and give us something else to do on vacation.raving loon link wrote: How far along has Mr gone in his training? Has he soloed yet?
Yes. (One never loses their license.) However there are FAA bi-annual flight checks that are also required. My last one was long ago.Phoenix link wrote: I can understand that. Do you still have your pilot license?
Which ground school are you using? I would recommend king school then buying a gleim for your hard core studying.Phoenix link wrote: Heck no, just starting. Thanks Drew... I was checking into King and a couple local central Florida schools Thank you for the hint on Gleim, I'm sure that will come in handy.Drew_Ryan link wrote: Which ground school are you using? I would recommend king school then buying a gleim for your hard core studying.

Let me know if you ever have questions! I could talk about flying for days! If you need recommendations, I would be more than happy to ask around. I would say get done with ground before you solo, it just makes life easier.Phoenix link wrote: Thanks Drew...
