ELKO FIRST ANNUAL COOKOFF CONTEST

Hey guys,

I know it is hard to get everyone in town at the same time but I wanted to see if  anyone would be interested in this.

Simple Contest:

Cook your favorite dish and the girls, managers, and bartenders will vote on it.

We could make this a 6 month process or have it on a particular weekend?


Any thoughts?

The winner or winners would get a Free Half hour party!


We have had two amazing chefs cook for us recently and both are mongers so I thought I would inquire...

We have had some really great meals so far:

One monger made:

-Homemade cheesecake, Homemade Italian Bread, Pesto Pasta, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Olive Tapenade, Sweet Potatoe Casserole, Lo Country Boil + more dishes

Another Monger Made:
Carne Asade, Barbeque Chicken, Homemade Guacamole, Arroz con Cebolla, and Tortillas

Another Patron Made:
Homemade Marbled Fudge Cake

so we are really looking for some great new dishes to try from all over the world and different ethnicities!!

Hmmmm, good idea. I'd be a better follower on this one than having any original ideas though probably

You better have me cook rather than my brother  :-\ He only knows dry white toast, but I can cook 4 fried chickens  ;D
