On Facebook I follow a local restaurant review group & it annoys the hell out of me when people complain that this Italian restaurant or that Mexican restaurant isn’t “Authentic”
News flash: If it came from a recipe from an Italian at that place or a Mexican at their place or whatever ethnicity of the same as the restaurant then it’s “Authentic” just because it’s not like what you tasted wherever doesn’t mean it’s not Authentic. Countries are big. Different areas do different things & if it came from one of the countryman’s recipe’s then it’s Authentic!
