Okay so please don't fight over this.
Hahaha made you click on that juicy controversial title but it's not what you think.

I think we should come up with something to replace LPIN. The reason being is that prostitution is really not something we like. It also adds to the anti-prostitution cause. It sounds dirty and always used when talking about illegal sex. Sex Workers is the word we use now because it gives us more validity, because it says worker. That is broad so we need to define it down a little. I would like to hear suggestions.

Maybe:

Legal Courtesan Sex Workers

Your ideas matter too so put them forth. I was thinking not to use Nevada because it makes it very local and not as big. Just and idea.

Legal companions in Nevada. I’m still stuck on LPIN because most people look for that first.

I think it’s critical to have Legal & Nevada as Nevada is the only place in US it is Legal.

Getting people to use the new verbiage will be the challenge. We all know Ladies who still refer to them selves as W’s & that they are proud W’s etc.

I agree the word prostitution has a very negative connotation & stigma so needs to go with that in mind I’d propose a simple change to:
LCON
Legal Courtesans of Nevada
Or LCIN
Legal Courtesans in Nevada

I wish Ladies would refer to themselves as Courtesans as it has a much more classy feel & professional sound to it & is not the Generic “Sex Worker”

I like the idea rachel! I'm on a sexworkers reddit thread and I see a lot of legal brothel workers posting from many different countries, along with the escorts as well, but just a worldwide legal sex workers board would be cool because its actually legal in many places in the world and more and more people are coming to see the benefits that legal work has for ladies.

Anyway, it's only legal in Nevada in the US now, but other countries also have legal brothels. Which is a neat way for us to connect with girls and clients everywhere.

I dont think it should be stigmatized. If you work legally, you work legally that's just it... therefore the girls who do legal work should be able to connect the way that suits them

For example, since I'm an independent contractor, and if I am just doing online camming, I shouldnt not be able to continue to market my online camming to clientele I've built up on the boards. I dont do meetups, so I think it's important for us as women to maintain our own like business standards. We build our businesses and should be treated as owners of our businesses. For example someone asked me (not naming any names) if and when I will be back at the ranch what the state of my nevada business license is and stuff like that, and said it was their right to ask... because they were an owner of a board (not u obvi) but since when do they have the right to ask

Like I made over 100K last year with my business, as an independent contractor, now why would they feel they have the "right" to know what my business needs are? I'm confused? I think it's either because I'm a female or because I'm a courtesan but either way it feels demeaning.

I just think as women we shouldnt let society push us around. We are strong and work so hard so when we can make our own business minds up for something and be strong.

I always think you are so strong for running your own forum! You set an example for other ladies in this business!!!

You go girl! Great idea!
