COVID Tracking Apps

This idea is worrisome. Young people now have no problem doing what they are told. Zombies that think technology solves everything. I don't see this being forced but should it will probably end up at the Supreme Court under the 4th ammendment.

I say this because they ruled that law enforcement cannot go through your phone without a warrant or force you to give a password. One of the justices said that so much of our lives are in the phone that it considered the same as your home.

The laws on businesses don't fall under this but will soon. In many states businesses cannot seize your phone unless it is a work phone or a legitimate reason that would be extreme but business can make it part of your contract. The Supreme Court would stop that quick because if LE can't then other's can't. This Google / Apple data issue will make it to them if a tracking app that tells what you have and where you are becomes mandatory.
