Phases

The Nev Gov has started phase one of opening businesses which excludes bars, strip clubs & Brothels. Haven’t seen an outline of phase two & understand it’s implementation will happen when enough testing is done. Also from what I gathered a lot of the decisions will be put in the counties hands for how strict they will be.
If phase 2 does allow bars to open I personally don’t see how they wouldn’t allow strip clubs & Brothels to be open also. Bars are social, that’s it & it’s crazy to think you’re going to social distance in them & definitely not wear a mask as you are drinking! Lol
If it’s a cleanliness issue I find the Mustang cleaner than anywhere else I go in public places!
May 20 I think is optimistic but June 1 provided the testing is done & the numbers show a decrease is a very real possibility for phase 2 & the houses opening

The governor is creating his plans on the fly... he remains very secretive about the process.  I see casinos opening under strict control during Phase 2.

As far as the brothels?  Maybe, just maybe Phase 4 later in the year?  I think the upcoming election will be an influence across the country as to what & when things open.

I think the brothels' turn to open will be coming soon. Best case, late May or early June. Quite possibly when the strip clubs and massage parlors open back up. Most likely before or at the same time as the Casinos. Once the state's "stay-at-home" orders expire on May 15, it will be up to the counties to open stuff back up. And I'm sure the smaller counties are eager to get back to business. I think, right now, the biggest areas of state focus are the metropolitan areas such as LV and Reno.

I read that phase 1 in Nevada will be 3 weeks, how accurate that is I don’t know but if true then phase 2 would start June 1st.
I think it’s pretty fluid & will be based on testing results over the coming weeks
Will the houses be able to open in Phase 2? That’s the hope I’m sure

June 1st would be awesome.  I can't wait to get back to Nevada, but it won't be the same until they reinstate the bars, the ponies, and sport fucking.  I guess a few more days and we'll know for sure.  8)

If the Gov gives the counties control over it then I think they will reopen in phase 2.
If not then who knows?

I'm still thinking Phase 4, but I hope I'm wrong.

The science is this will never go away so then I guess the houses will never reopen...

I see many of the Vegas conventions are cancelled for the remainder of 2020.  I wonder how the southern houses will fair without them...

Phase 2 was just announced. Beginning this Friday, bars, tatoo parlors, theaters, and a few more biz will be re-opening with obvious safety measures.

Brothels, adult nature businesses, and nightclubs were mentioned as NOT being included.

Personally, I can not wait to go belly up to a bar and order a cold cocktail. Miss the buzz, bs'ing with friends, co-workers and strangers that takes place at bars. ?

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve actually hit up a few bars in other states the last several weeks. I just hope all my favorite places don’t go under.

I think phase 4 might not come until August, much too late for the LPIN awards banquet. How many courtesans and clients will be willing to travel all the way to Reno if the brothels are still closed in the middle of July? Banquet sites need a lead time and head count plus deposit, to create a menu, purchase food, have cooks prepare the food, and hire enough people to serve the food. No more self serve banquet lines. I think the awards "banquet" this year should be called off. Even renting just a meeting room without food costs money and a head count which might be more workable if the brothels open back up, and have the "meeting" just to have the awards given out.

Well, damn it. Was really hoping for a June opening - as were Elko and Dovetail, I imagine.

Welp, my next set of reservations for Elko is the July 4th weekend. Fingers crossed!

The banquet venue has cancelled all events until at least this fall.  The awards people are currently planning on presenting the awards at the picnic on Saturday.  We were talking to a guy who works banquets at the Atlantis and he said they would have no more events this year.  We’re all hoping the houses open up by July.  The big meeting is still on for the third week of July but because of the chaos this year a lot of things will be fluid until that time.
