Victimhood Mentality

Short essay on some of my random thoughts.

A lot of Americans are living under the false illusion that government is going to fix all their problems.  They believe they can never get ahead because they were handed a bad deck of cards.  This type of thinking has been genetically programmed into us by the gangsters who believe they run this world.  Six corporations in America control 90% percent of media.  A very small group of people control most of the information feed to us.  Remember that a sixth generation chicken who has never seen the sky will recognize a hawk and be in fear of its presence.  Social programming has more of an effect on us that most are willing to accept.  Generation after generation the wealth gap between a small group of people and the majority of society increases.  Why does this happen?

Life runs in cycles, 100 years ago we had the Spanish Flu and roughly 2,400 years ago Rome fell during an 80 year period.  Universal cycles are easy to predict and something that the gangsters have known for a long time.  Big profits are made cycle after cycle and the wealth gap increases.

Manipulation is often considered a bad behavior, yet it is something we are all capable of.  Children and pets master the art at a young age. As we become adults we are consciously aware that manipulation is a bad behavior.  Manipulation is a tool often used by successful people to get what they want.  Are you the victim or the player?  A great example of this strategy is from the stories of Captain Charlie Plumb who spent 6 years as a POW in Vietnam.  The men that survived the experience all did so by changing the rules of their situation and became successful  people upon their return to America.

Often time when people get upset at anther's success it is because they are still living in the victim hood mentality mode.  They complain that the others had it easy because they found a loop hole.  Guess what?  Rules are made to be changed and we all have the ability to make the changes into our favor.  The problem that we face is when things get out of balance.  Everything in this world has its polarity opposite and when you ignore that fact is when things become out of balance.  Being in fear of socially accepted bad traits to the point you completely ignore them is as dangerous as using these bad traits to your advantage without the thought of how it might affect others.

Gangsters need victims.  Are you a victim of the red or blue party? Are you a victim of racism or SJW's? Are you a victim of the corporations and media censorship? Stop it and became the OG in an ethical way and you take that power back from the gangsters.

G, I agree with you in principle to the extent that I understand. I used to call it the "entitlement syndrome." You are correct that things are out of balance. I've likened what you are talking about as being analogous to "Newton's Law" that "every action has an equal and opposite reaction." To put it another way, "what goes around, comes around." One big problem is with the justice system. When "justice" becomes as political as it is these days, it is easier for people to become actual victims of unjust circumstances and not just in their own minds. Of course, what they do with it depends on the individual. Sure, they can rise again from the ashes, sort of like ole Don Quixote, but how easy will it be without Lady "Blind" Justice which is supposed to be the great equalizer in our society? Still, I personally consider "victimhood" as an attitude, as a losing proposition. The best book I can remember on this subject is by Victor Frankyl, "Man's Search for Meaning." I still have  Charlie Plumb's book "I'm No Hero."

Yes entitlement syndrome is the same line of thinking. There is definitely victims of the justice system and other social systems and I don't want to take that away from them because we can learn and improve from what they went through.  What irks me are those that are stuck in the past and are not doing anything in the present situation to combat the problems they face.
