Anyone else read this book? Sci-fi future but with links to the 80’s video games.
Very cool concept they are making into a movie that Spielberg is involved with so I have high hopes the movie will somewhat resemble the book.
Comes out March 2018

Read the book a few years back, thought it was really good, hope they don't screw it up as movies sometime do. The images in my mind while reading are rarely lived up to on the screen.

The movie trailer looks interesting but also a little out there. Scenes that don’t e it’s in the movie etc.
As I said I hope with Spielberg’s involvement it comes together

Spielberg lost his touch a long time ago.

Saw this tonight.

It was a lot of fun and I want to see it again and just enjoy it as opposed to constantly comparing it to the book.
As a stand alone movie it rocked! Tons of pop culture 80’s references that were really fun and I’m sure I’m missed at least 70% of them because I kept comparing to the book.
Spielberg did a good job even tho he went way away from the book
