I saw this somewhere else today and just wanted to get it out there, because it speaks to me and as well as most people on the board

Can we as clients stop trying to do the math on how much companions make every party, every day, every year?

We have never WORKED in the industry and will never know this. Frankly, its none of our business. I do not know how much my mechanic, accountant or doctor makes each year, nor do I care. I do not need to know their overhead, their tax situation, or if they claim all they earn. That is not my issue. What I appreciate is good service and personal attention. In other words, getting my money worth.

Every situation, every person, every drive and ambition is different. Ladies who work hard deserve to earn a decent living, just as we all feel we deserve in our own professional lines of work.

Its not about the money its what you get in return for your patronage.

I WANT my mechanic, doctor, and accountant who I trust to make good money, that way they won’t disappear and I have to start over to find someone new. Same with my hairdresser and my favorite checker at the market.

Yeah, life moves on and I won't be here forever. I have several business ventures and when those are built I will leave. Some people will spend their lives at the virtual bar (forum) telling stories of their glory days. Never expanding, never learning, and never doing anything but swapping stories about how clever they were at negotiations.

Perhaps the saddest part is they don’t even realize how sad they are

I usually check this once a day. I don't think it is healthy for anyone to stay on these forums too long because nothing is new and people need hobbies and things to do. A lot of happiness in life comes from those things. I am sure there is something for everyone to do.

I know that going to brothels is called "the hobby" but it's not a hobby in the true sense. It's like saying that drinking beer is a hobby.

I don't mean this in a bad way.

My mom was married to a few guys that made drinking beer their hobby. When she was out looking for a guy, they all gravitate toward her.

To me, going to brothels is a mini vacation, but in one instance, it actually saved my life.

Watching TV and movies has been a hobby of mine since forever, to the point where I minored in Film and Television Production in college. So many people have said “watching TV is not a hobby” “tv rots your brain” and that may be true but I love every second of it.

I had to grow up with the same arguments about video games. I always wanted to be a game designer. I never made it, but I have designed a game on RPG Maker.
