"Dennis Hof's notorious Love Ranch Brothel has been sold. The property where the self-professed "Pimpmaster General" died, which is also the site of Lamar Odem's 2015 overdose has been sold to a retired supermarket employee from the Bay Area. The buyer, who has not been publicly named, paid for the Love Ranch by cashing in some of his stock market investments that he had been accumulating for over half a century. While a client of legal brothels for over half a decade, the buyer prided himself in paying the lowest prices possible and investing the difference in the stock market. "People used to laugh at me for looking for the lowest priced experiences in Nevada," the buyer claimed. "They made fun of me. Well who's laughing now?"

The new owner intends to introduce Green Stamps at his new brothel. Green stamps were distributed at the checkout counters of supermarkets, department stores, and gasoline stations among other retailers in the 1960s and 1970s. Once enough were accumulated, that could be redeemed for products in a catalog.

The story said it sold for 1.2 million. Since LRS is out in the middle of nowhere, they'd never make their money back with brothel tours (i.e. Low number of customers * Low revenue/customer = no bueno). It would have to be a brothel to make their money back.

In that one article it says that Lamar Odom claims Dennis tried to kill him. I don’t doubt. Dennis was a sociopath. He was a narcissist that would do anything to get himself in the spotlight.

I remember when people would fight about whether his media tactics were good or bad and some people would rave about how smart he was.
