The LPIN 22 Awards Nomination Round Opens February 1st

#1

Post by firefighter »

The LPIN 22 Awards Nomination Round Opened February 1st.
The automated ballot casting system is operational, so it won't be necessary to email ballots.  If a registered voter is unable to cast their ballot or has questions, please PM the "LPIN Awards Committee" or "Admin" handles or email vote@lpinawards.com for assistance.

Please click this link for the Nomination Round Announcement
Note: Voters must cast ballots using their voter registration email address and not their LPIN Awards board profile email address since they may be different.

Registered Voters are urged to register as LPIN Awards board members so they may PM communicate with LPIN Awards Committee members or the "LPIN Awards Committee" handle.  Note: LPIN Awards board registration is separate from voter registration, and registration email addresses may be different too.

Thank you,

LPIN 22 Awards Committee

Sorry ape man. There's no fading away allowed here.

?The lady in question has a legit following and I have dropped her name privately when people have sent me private messages asking for my opinion.

She also has appeared in several of my IM productions.

So anyone who has paid attention knows I am fond of Kassie now going by Whitney.

To my recollection though this is her first nomination. I think I would have noticed if she had been nominated before.
But anyway yeah was going to not vote this year. Start my fade to black. But yeah one of you alls just had to throw a lady into the mix I actually  have a past with. So now I need to delay my fade away till at least 2019.?

That being said since this is her first nomination if anyone employed at Mustang read this post tell her I said congratulations on her first nomination.

But dammit one of you alls messed up my grand plan to fade away from this whole thing at least another year.?

Are you also notifying the voters via email that the nomination round has begun? Since this year it is no longer directly related to the other board it may be a good idea

The awards team notified voters of the new lpinawards.com website 10/2/17 by email.  In the last three years only 40% to 53% of registered voters cast Nomination Round ballots.  Voters may decide not to cast nomination ballots if their candidates have already been nominated, since candidates proceed to the First Round with a single nomination.  The First Round voter participation is higher at between 49% to 87% over the last 10 years.  The Final Round figures are between 58% to 86% over the last 10 years.

If the Nomination Round ballots are light, the committee will probably email voters that haven't participated by 2/21/18 to remind them to cast their ballots.  There are voters who traditionally like to cast the last ballot too.

What are voters' feeling concerning the length of the voting rounds?  Are the following rounds too long?
Nomination Period begins February 1, 2018 and ends midnight February 28, 2018 PST.
Preliminary Voting Round begins March 4, 2018 and ends midnight March 31, 2018 PDT.
Final Voting Round begins April 4, 2018 and ends midnight April 30, 2018 PDT.

I stopped feeling the need to nominate a girl  the  day my ATF retired.

I will however vote in Next round. Probably for the one lady on the list I have actually  unfortunately for her been naked with.

I say probably because there is a lady I have only met and talked with in person. But if someone submits her name. I might have to consider shifting my planned vote.

I may or may not go into details If I shift my vote. Last year I voted for Rachel.even though there was one or two in the first round last year that unfortunately for them had to see me naked. I don't always vote for a f mm girl because of her skills on a mattress.

I explained why last year I suddenly decided to vote for Rachel even though I have been nowhere near a mattress with her.

So I will say as of right now I plan on voting for the poor lady on the list that had to see me naked way more then once. That in itself should make her worthy of some type of award.

But I am going to keep my eye on the nomination list to see if I feel the need to vote for someone other then the lady I plan to vote for right this second in time.?

Maybe some of the past BS caused some not to vote.  Who knows, let's hope it gets "well".

It's a fact that EastcoastEnglishman's 25 illegitimate ballots in C*MC 19 caused dissent in that contest.  Voters registered on the honor system prior to C*MC 19 since it was supposed to be a fun type contest, but the NYC psycho troll ECE's unscrupulous C*MC 19 actions caused that voter registration process to be abolished.  Fortunately, ECE was unsuccessful in his attempt to manipulate the C*MC 19 contest due to a high legitimate voter turnout, and those legitimate voters' candidates won by an overwhelming margin.  ECE's ballots were subtracted from the overall vote count, and those same candidates still won.  However, voters are now verified to be legitimate and not another person's multiple voter registration.  The process is annoying to perspective voters but it's worth the trouble to keep the contest honest.  The intent of the LPIN Awards Contest is to honor exemplary Courtesans and Brothels, and problems in past contests should not be a factor.

The LPIN 22 Nomination Round is progressing as usual.  There's normally only about 40% participation in the Nomination Round because voters may not cast a ballot if their candidates have already been nominated.  We're currently at 23% which is over halfway but there's still 16 days remaining in the Nomination Round.  It seems that voters either cast their ballots early or wait until the last week.  It only takes one nomination for a candidate to proceed to the Preliminary Round so multiple votes for the same candidates are not beneficial.

The Preliminary and Final Rounds are entirely different because of the tie vote rules.

LPIN 22 Awards Official Rules
"VII. a) The top five candidates in each category from the Preliminary Voting Round will proceed to the Final Voting Round.

b) In case of a tie for fifth place in any category at the end of the Preliminary Voting Round, the tie will be broken in favor of the candidate receiving the earliest vote involved in the tie according to the date and time stamped ballot.

c) In case of a tie for first place in any category at the end of the Final Voting Round, the tie will be broken in favor of the candidate receiving the earliest vote involved in the tie according to the date and time stamped ballot."

Therefore, it benefits candidates for voters to cast ballots promptly in the Preliminary and Final Rounds to enable their candidates to prevail concerning tie votes.
