Over the years I've flown quite a bit and found that my favorite airlines are all foreign.

My Favs

1) Emirates

2) Air New Zealand

3) British Airways

4) Virgin Australia

Absolute worst

American Airlines - no leg room, Lost my bag for 5 days going to Rio and again for 2 days on the way back.

I'm glad that I don't have to use American or United for work related travel anymore.  Over the years, they've become the worse airlines that I've flown.  A few years ago on one trip to New York, I was on a United flight and we were stuck on the tarmac for close to 6 hrs.  The worse delays that I've had were with American, although I never had any lost luggage.  Delta lost my luggage twice on 2 different trips to Orlando.

it's been awhile since I've had to fly internationally, but for domestic travel I try to stick with Southwest unless I have no other choice ...LOL

American Airlines has got to be the worst of the worst. I have several horror stories about them.  My last trip I almost saw a fight in DFW when a AA guy shut the door in several passengers faces and caused them to miss their flight and the plane still just sit there for about 20 minutes.

I prefer Southwest. I never had any problems with them.

Yeah, I use them the most when flying in the U.S., their only down side is no reserved seat, but they don't charge for the first checked bag, and still give peanuts and soft drinks for free.[/size]
