You don't risk having rotten luck and picking some female undercover vice cop that the has legs and overall rack to pull off a micro mini skirt.
Or worse reason 1b especially if its some place like Vegas its a dude posing as a female.


At least at the brothels taking it on faith you have the funds to roll. The only gamble you are taking at a legal brothel is that you are going to enjoy the next hour or so with whatever girl you just handed a wad of cash too.


You play the indie game you might choose the wrong one. There is also the possibility even if its not a dude in drag. Or undercover officer hottie in a skirt. That you will get trick rolled.


If you get trick Rolled in a brothel its you got to be the unluckiest person In the world.


I actually was in Vegas I think it was 2 or 3 years ago staying at Paris there is this one bar there with the Chandlers where all the indie ladies tend to hang out.


First night there this pretty little 20 something with a nice butt at least I I hope she was 20 something could have been in her late. Teens caught me in a week moment heading to the casino bathroom which just happens to be in front of the hooker bar. Fortunately for me she was not a dude and just a college kid getting money to further her education.


Anyway on the last night of the trip I am playing Jacks or better at the hooker bar I am getting hit on I didn't have money for that but enough to play 20 and get comped soda.


This one just gave me a vibe. I almost said I ain't got that kind of money, but if you want to get coffee or something when you get off officer hottie you know where to find me.?


That trip was still better then last year though ceasers I couldn't leave my damn room even without a hey baby! Where you going? For crime sakes even at 5 am can't run to the over lhe over priced hotel store without getting hit on.


Now I get it a guy mid 40's In a Vegas hotel alone. Especially at Ceasers they are going to find you even if you don't want them to.


But the irony if I had any damn money to even play that particular form of Craps. ? I wouldn't have been alone.
Was alone cus I had no money.


If I had money would have just rolled big booked an out date with one of the ladies at the Hof Barn.?


Anyway best answer you don't need to worry about ending up in handcuffs unless its part of your party.????

I think for many of us including me, the #1 reason is because it legal and not as risky as playing on the dark side.

Canada and TJ were options awhile back, but Canada changed their prostitution laws so it's no longer decriminalized (buying sex is now illegal, even though selling sex is legal).  Needless to say, I don't think TJ is too safe these days, even though prostitution is legal across the border ...LOL.

OK for the glactically dense me! Explain how can a person legally sell sex and make any money if nobody can legally purchase the service? I confused.????

It's called the Nordic Model that was adopted by Sweden, then several other countries including Canada played follow the leader.  I don't want to hijack 9er's thread, so if you do a google search, there is quite a bit of info out there.  ;D

Safety.
The ladies are tested.  The party takes place in a secure area, so there’s no worry about a raid from the police. Lastly, the ladies are there to party. I don’t have to worry about some third party showing up and robbing me, much like what happened to Holden in the Catcher in the Rye book.

If I'm in the mood for a woman's touch, and to please and be pleased, I'm going there. No head games. Just a couple minute discussion, then it's time to play

I enjoy the entire brothel experience. The interaction, conversation, and variety of ladies.  I usually prowl after dark and dig the festive atmosphere.  To me, it really IS a party!  ;D

Simple.  A courtesan, if she gets mad at me, can, at most, send me to the lobby.  An indy can send me to the morgue.

For me, its that the brothels have a parlor where you can interact with the ladies in person before you choose who you are going to go party with.

It's legal and safe and you get to meet the ladies in person before you decide  that you want to party with them.

I don't want to risk ending up robbed, injured or in the hospital.
