Interesting proposed treatment for patients with Alzheimer's is in a FDA stage 1 drug trial.

The treatment uses two electroencephalograph caps on the patient's head.  The built in antennas conduct low levels of RF to saturate the patient's brain.  The frequency used is just above one of the cell phone bands.

The company, NeuroEM Therapeutics, Inc. (www.neuroem.com) calls the protocol "transcranial electromagnetic treatment (TEMT).

First treatment that might actually help a patient.

It may be the amount of RF exposure.  I believe the treatments are twice a day.  Some folks use their cell phone all day and night.

It may be like radiation.  The human body thrives on a little bit of radiation.  However, too much, like a nuclear accident, is deadly.

RF is electromagnetic radiation which is supposed to be safe. Cell phone carriers like Verizon pay to have the phones tested but the company that does that has only one client. Verizon. Of course they are going to say they are safe. In Europe they have done studies that show different.


Ionizing radiation is things like xrays gamma and so on. I believe the radiation has enough energy to separate electrons from atoms so that's why you die.


Be safe and use a headset because you can't trust any company that would potentially lose millions if proven their products cause cancer.

Surely a company wouldn't pay a test lab to come up with "the right answer"?  Hint - tobacco companies.

There is a headset that converts the electrical sound energy into acoustical sound, and then uses tubes to connect the acoustical sound to the person's ears.  This way the cell phone is away from the person's brain.  Of course, simply limiting talk time also works.  And then there is texting.

Also, not keeping the phone on one's person is best.  When I sleep, I have my cell phone on my walker, not next to my head.  Even when one isn't using the phone, it still periodically "checks in" with the local cell tower, meaning the transmitter is active.

Finally, realize the cell phone transmitter power varies depending on how strong it receives the cell tower signal.  With one or two bars, the phone is blasting out with maximum power, meaning maximum radiation.  This would happen on an airplane.  It is best to simply turn off the phone.
