I remember hearing the story of the young actor, the beating, the rope around his neck in the middle of the night in Chicago.

First thing I thought was who is walking around in negative 5 degree weather. The second thing was the whole " this is MAGA country" quote after the supposive beating. That really stuck out to me as a prepared sound bite that the media could use. Then lastly, who walks back to their apartment with the rope still around their neck? I would want that off as soon as they left. But, then you would not be able to capture in on the survellience camera as you entered the building.

Glad the truth is coming out, that the white guys he initially claimed, are actually his black friends whom he paid $3500. Hope he serves time and that the politicians who were quick to blame it all on the President get to answer some tough questions now.

I had no idea who he was before this,  He achieved viral media fame, but hopefully he winds up facing legal consequences for filing a fake police report and making the busy Chicago police divert resources over it.
