I have a lot of people say they wish I could run again so they could vote for me.
NO!
I will NEVER run again. Ever!
I had my time in the spotlight and it's time for someone else. I cannot imagine running again winning. It would make me feel like shit if I was to win and it would be unfair. I run a forum and this unfair advertising for myself. I would just feel bad if it happened.
Thank you for all the love but we should never have repeat winners.
Repeat COY

I like that the award can be won by a different lady every year I was proud as a peacock to have partied with you during the year you won COY for :-*
It’s 2,000 miles to Nevada, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.

I could see your point of view. I would feel like shit also. Let the new one shine in. But I’m not against the past coy winners vomiting. On the next round.

Dear Rachel,
You won Courtesan of the Year in the 2016 election, and you'll be a Courtesan of the Year forevermore.
You're my All-Time Favorite Courtesan of the Year, and it's unnecessary to run again because you're already a COY winner!
There's really no need to run again, because you have already been elected and honored COY for eternity.
There have only been 20 different Courtesans of the Year from award years 1997 to 2017.
Three Ladies had been designated COY multiple times, but after 2009 it was deemed superfluous to run again.
1997 Awards through 2017 Awards COY winners and the brothels they represented in parentheses:
1997 Katherine Leigh (Sagebrush Ranch)
1998 Cindy Spice (Sagebrush Ranch)
1999 Nikita (Kitty's Cathouse)
2000 Nikita (Kitty's Cathouse), Adele (Sagebrush Ranch) & Shannon (Sagebrush Ranch)
2001 Summer (Chicken Ranch)
2002 Chay (Sheri's Ranch) - No organized voting so Curious selected the COY
2003 Chay (Shady Lady Ranch) & Shanice (Wild Horse)
2004 Tabitha (Old Bridge Ranch, Mustang Ranch)
2005 Carolina (Wild Horse)
2006 Jenny Lane (Moonlite Bunny Ranch)
2007 Anna Suvari (Moonlite Bunny Ranch)
2008 Anna Suvari (Moonlite Bunny Ranch)
2009 Anna Suvari (Moonlite Bunny Ranch)
2010 Lexy (Chicken Ranch)
2011 Envy (Sheri's Ranch)
2012 Destini (Sheri's Ranch)
2013 Carrera (Mustang Ranch)
2014 Belle (Dovetail Ranch, Mustang Ranch)
2015 Jade Capri (Love Ranch)
2016 Rachel Varga (Mustang Ranch)
2017 Roxy (Dovetail Ranch)
2018 to be announced at Mikey's July 19, 2019 awards banquet

When a lady wins COY the first time, she is a COY for life in my book, so there's no need for repeat wins. I also think the awards committee has done a pretty good job over the years in making relevant changes to the system in order to make thing fair for everyone. 8)
