LPIN 2019 Awards Preliminary Voting Round

Two ballots were received on the last day of the LPIN 2019 Awards Preliminary Voting Round.  The last ballot was submitted by Jagged with one hour to spare, lol. 

63 valid ballots were submitted during the preliminary round which is 59% voter participation.  The awards committee had hoped that 64% of voters would submit ballots as last year, but that target was missed by 5 ballots.  That figure may have been missed partially because of the brothel closures, since the contest may not have been on the forefront of voters' minds.

The LPIN 2019 Awards Finalists will be announced tomorrow 4/2/20.

The LPIN 2019 Awards FINAL Voting Round will begin 4/5/20 and an announcement will be posted in the LPIN Awards Contest Forum at that time.

LPIN Awards would like to express our utmost gratitude to DJ Jorge for donating his professional web developer services.  DJ Jorge rectified our HTML problems which enabled our voter registration form and three ballots to function properly.  Subsequently, registered voters will be able to cast their Nominating Round, Preliminary Round and FINAL Round automated ballots which simplifies the voting process.  Furthermore, the HTML forms allow ballots to be cast and counted in a uniform and flawless manner.

3/31/20 is the 27th day of the LPIN 2019 Awards Preliminary Voting Round.

62 valid ballots have been cast from 3/5/20 thru 3/31/20 which is 58% voter participation. 
70 ballots are anticipated (65% voter participation), so over 89% of the expected total ballots have been cast.

It's beneficial to candidates for registered voters to cast their ballots as early as possible.
In the event of preliminary round ties for final round qualification, the candidates who receive the earliest tying vote will become finalists.  Therefore, registered voters should cast their ballots as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of their candidates becoming finalists.

Yes, Dahlia has been a COY finalist 6 times which is definitely a record.

Only 14 different Courtesans have been COY finalists more than one time in the 13 years from 2018 thru 2006.

Belle, Jade Capri and Victoria were finalists 4 times.

Anna Suvari, Jordan Soprano and Vanity Affair were finalists 3 times.

Roxy Gold, Coco, Paris Envy, Carrera, Lady Aries, Lexy and Arielle were finalists 2 times.

Furthermore, SIX Courtesans have been elected Courtesan of the Year on their first COY finalist qualification during these same 13 years which includes Roxy, Rachel Varga, Destini, Envy, Jenny Lane and Anna Suvari.

Finalist records exist for the years 2006 thru 2018, but records aren’t available to determine if Jenny Lane or Anna Suvari were nominated in a year before becoming finalists; furthermore, the year they became a finalist may not have been their first year in LPIN.  However, records indicate that Envy, Destini & Roxy were nominated in years preceding becoming finalists.  Therefore, Rachel Varga is the only verifiable Courtesan to have been nominated, elected finalist and won Courtesan of the Year in her first LPIN year.
