I needed to go to the post office yesterday. Just dropped off my mail in the drive-up big blue box. On my way back home I went by Arby's drive-up to get their 2 for $6 fish sandwiches. My timing must have been good 'cause there were no cars in line. But, by the time I left, there were 8 cars lined up behind me.

I was out of the house 20 minutes & never left my car. I did see folks going in & out of the post office & a couple walking their dogs. Except or them, I didn't see that many folks outside. Traffic was lighter than a normal Wednesday.

The only problem is that it gets addicting. So watch out.

I'm a truck driver so still working. Can't go home actually, my step father lives with me and I wouldn't want to expose him to the virus in case I got it. That's okay though. More money to save for my next visit to the Mustang.

Yeah just stay safe out there and please drop by my place with a load of toilet paper. I'll be like a Somali Warlord hoarding all the food except no one will be able to wipe their ass without my permission.

Did a Costco load last week of just toilet paper and paper towels. Had a police escort through town. A few trucks have been swarmed, but no attacks have been reported yet.

Hauling lawnmowers and customer orders to Lowe's right now. Stopped at a rest area for my 30 minute break about 200 miles from the store I'm delivering to. Had to leave. Too many people coming up to my truck and asking what I am hauling.

Might be a good idea to start coughing and spitting the next time people come up to you.

This is nuts. There is no shortage! It just can't be delivered fast enough. Approaching a truck and asking that. These guys are out in the populace bringing those supplies and you act like this? Idiots.

With the exception of the T&A posts of course, this is my favorite post of the week! Sad thing is that is such a true statement and one I have said many times in the past 2 weeks.

When I'm not teaching online, I have resorted to junk yard therapy.  It is soooo relaxing!  Nothing abstract - just me and my tools and mother nature.  I'm on a mission for parts for the ole' Dodge.  8)

Thinking new job opportunity: Riding “Shot Gun” on a big rig! Only now I’d arm them with fully auto AR15’s (Riding AR15 just doesn’t have the same ring to it).
Just like the old Wild West with the Stage Coach.
On a serious note about this.
I was discussing this with my cousin who is in Law enforcement. We agree that the US can handle a couple weeks of “Quarantine”. If it goes a month people will start doing crazy shit, if it goes beyond a month all bets are off & it could be “Mad Max” time.
The US has never been under tight social rule & will not react well. As Rachel has talked about she grew up under it & the government had the control so it took a monumental shift to change & it still isn’t the most “free” space.
If the Gov tries to keep ppl locked down for too long there will be a revolt as Americans fear loss of freedom more than any Virus

Sorry to go all serious...

I'll be driving by exit 28 day after tomorrow with a wave and sad face on my way to Sacramento. Can't wait for the madness to end.

I've been doing my best imitation of a couch potato. 8)  Watching more TV, spending time on the internet, learning some new tunes on my guitar, etc.  I also have a Virtual Reality headset, so I've been spending some time playing VR games, watching VR media, and of course watching some VR porn, since the brothels are closed. LOL

Needless to say, there are those funner activities like cleaning the house, laundry, and going grocery shopping to find out folks are still hoarding essentials.  Although being in the 60-something generation, I'm glad that a number of grocery stores have implemented senior hours.

Minnesota is shutting down tomorrow night, but I have to keep working during weekdays. When I'm home, watching TV, playing the new Animal Crossing game, and checking this site and social media. And if it stops raining, some yard work.

I'm a new poster on this forum and I'll probably never get to meet you Rachel but I love your comments and I think you have an amazing attitude. That being said, if you want to talk about people being stupid, where I live they have pulled Corona beer off the shelves because the rumor went around that it was causing Coronavirus. Another rumor was that the only toilet paper factories in the world were in China and they were shut down, that was why some people were stocking up on toilet paper. I'm not going to say where I'm from at this point or it would lead to another round of jokes, just call me gutless.

From what I understand they have taken steps so that people won't fear their product anymore.
