Swinging - Lifestyle

I’m casual friends with a guy and girl who wrote a graphic novel on the swing lifestyle, I actually still have a photo of us together.  Matt gave me a copy of the book for free  ;D  A lot in their book followed things in their relationship, they were married (not sure any more, by volume 3 Jenni was off the book).

Have any of you indulged in the lifestyle?

If so, how do you detach feelings avoid having things run into your personal life?

BTW if you’re into BDSM an excellent graphic novel by Stepen Sejic (Croatian) and his wife Linda Sejic... other casual fiends.  The inter personal relationships in these books are phenomenal

A former "shack up" and I used to be of the lifestyle.  This was 25 years ago when there used to be directories for sale in the dirty book stores.  The internet was in it's infancy with little to no info available.  We had a lot of fun having swap parties - much of which was found by word of mouth.  My girlfriend at the time was a stripper so we didn't have any jealousy issues. 

After 50 Shades, everybody wanted to be a kinkster.  All of a sudden BDSM was the new cool.  Alternative sexuality also became popular.

So, I used to be friends with a girl and she was telling me that her parents are swingers. Her parents were really open about swinging and would have get together at her childhood home. It gets crazier, her paternal grandparents were also swingers. So, I would say it’s a normal thing in her life. Then, she got married and she is now a swinger. In all, I know a third generation swinger. She says it’s the key to a happy marriage.
