I found this article interesting and maybe even amusing. However, since they didn't say standing on my left foot and scratching my ass with my right hand is a sign of having had Covid, I guess I haven't had it. ;D
BTW: There is a test where they check your blood which gives them a much more accurate picture of if you've had it or not.

Since I do massage I have tested nine times already. The coronus virus in the month of January has hit hard in the area around me. Now people around me have gotten the virus. It’s quite scary. Get this vaccine in here quick. We do have 24/7 places open here and hopefully the rate of the virus here will go down.

Its possible, but highly unlikely that you had it and didn't know it. People I know that have had it, even with mild symptoms, at least go through the loss of taste and smell.
Sorry about your mom banginit. I lost my mother back in May. I did travel for her burial last summer and did test negative on both ends of the travel.
My aunt caught it at this time from her grandchildren and did get hospitalized as well. She was treated and recovered.
Vaccine is limited here to first responders and those 70+. I'm hoping that once J&J's vaccine is approved, that the pipeline will be such that the general population will be able to start getting it.

A few months after it started I got really sick and felt like crap for weeks after. I tested negative though. Some people in the family are fine now but one still has memory loss and hearing loss.georoc01 link wrote: Its possible, but highly unlikely that you had it and didn't know it. My mom and I got tested the same day. I was negative but she was positive, so I had to quarantine all the same. I had a week and a half of leave saved up, I have have two days.
The day I called to let HR know I tested, I started getting flu like symptoms and felt really sick. I was running a fever for a few days. This was around the holiday.

Most families are affected by COVID in some way. My 92 year old aunt passed from it just before Christmas. She was living in a nursing home & had dementia issues. My sister & brother-in-law got it right after Thanksgiving. My sister's symptoms were mild & has recovered without any post-infection side effects. My brother-in-law was in the hospital for nearly a month. He was on a ventilator for 3 days & had arrhythmia problems. He's home now but is still weak & sleeps all day with chronic headaches.
I've never been tested but probably will get it done soon. I hope the vaccines will help end the pandemic. I'm signed up for the shots & have been issued a code number by the state health dept. I'm 74 but, right now, the state is only giving the vaccine to 75 & up. I'm diabetic so that moves me up the list a little bit. My older brother is 77 & has his code number as well. Even though he's older than 75, he still might have to wait a few months before he can be vaccinated. My Mom is 97 (has her code number also) & she has no idea when she'll get the shots. This state's (the governor's) handling of this pandemic has been highly criticized & it seems like some of our politicians have jumped the line & got their shots ahead of those who are in greater need of them. Their excuse: "I just wanna show the vaccine is safe." Yeah, right! :

Thanks Banginit. Sorry about your mom as well. It's tough watching your parents' health slowly deteriorate. While my mom is still sharp mentally, her physical health is poor. It's heart breaking to see our parents slowly wither away...Banginit link wrote: Hey sorry to hear...my mom is 90 dementia as well n in a home n has it. Well, I'm not DR. Fauci or the "we're rounding the corner feller" but my understanding is, all a test does is tell if you have it at the time of the test. Not if you have had it. The lingering affects are what interest me as I've had some strange things this year that I haven't had before such as my toes and fingers turning red on top almost as if they have been infected but they are not along with a constant wind/electronic sound in my ears. Yet all test prove negative. If anyone was to have had it and not know it, it might be me as I haven't had a cold or the flu since I was in my 20's so my immune system must be good. However, I'm still not rolling the dice and take every precaution I can to keep from catching it and can't wait to get my vaccine.
