Battle Mountain Desert Club
Battle Mountain is a small town. It is the home of the Desert Club. It has a row of hotels lined up along a railroad track. The Desert Club is directly on the other side of railroad tracks. It has several reataurants from McDonald's Donald's, steak house, pizza place Mexican food, Chinese food and small coffee shops and 2 super markets. The Owl Club had been voted as the best place to stay. Small but clean has casino, laundry room, fridge and microwave. Make reservation if coming in evening or just show up and chances are you get a room. The restaurant at the owl is has great food. The streak and the rib eye are great inexpensive and better than other places in town. What makes it even better is it's walking distance to the DESERT CLUB.

I've staggered across those tracks a couple times ;D
It’s 2,000 miles to Nevada, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.

Battle Mountain showed up on a late night talk show some time ago. The issue was an incident that happen way off the road in the boondocks. Situation was never explained. However, if it is someday solved, maybe there will be an influx of people for awhile.
