Spring in Texas

Texas weather is freaking nuts. Was nice today and now hail and tornados. Back home if you hear sirens it usually means bombs and not tornados. Gold ball size hail. Crazy.

For some reason there arr always really heavy storms here in North Texas. I lived in Vegas three years and there was hardly anything happening weatherwise.

Last night I opened the front door and it was hailing but the rain smelled so good.

We've had the 2nd most snow for the month of March since its been recorded in Denver. Which actually isn't a bad thing, we need the moisture. Should be good for those in Kansas and Nebraska at least.

People say Kansas is boring but if you drive through when they are turning the soil it looks really beautiful to me. I like the plains just as much as the mountains and the beach.

I was looking out the front window yesterday watching the snow blowing horizontally. Here in Albuquerque we have what are locally called "Canyon Winds." Those winds were 60mph yesterday morning.  :o
