COVID Vaccines in Texas
Texas will open vaccines to the population in a few days. I came home early so I wouldn't miss my appointment. I want to be vaccinated for my health and those around me but I also have a lot of regulars and it has made me really worried about passing something to them or from them. This was they don't have to worry and I won't either.

There were so many people. 4 lines of cars that split into 8 but it went fast and then had to wait 15 minutes to see if there was a reaction.Cobia link wrote:

I've had my first (Moderna) 10 days ago, and the only side effect was a sore shoulder. I get my 2nd one in a couple of weeks.
I've known people with no reaction, or if they do usually its chills and fever within 24 hours of receiving the 2nd shot. But it really depends on your immune system.
If you get the reaction on the first shot that's usually an indicator that you've had COVID before and its the antibodies kicking in as it does on the 2nd shot for those who haven't.

I feel really flush and exhausted with a really bad headache. I'm sure it will pass.georoc01 link wrote: I've had my first (Moderna) 10 days ago, and the only side effect was a sore shoulder. I get my 2nd one in a couple of weeks.

I got the Pfizer vaccine. The only thing I noticed was a slightly sore shoulder at the injection site. I got my shot at the University of NM basketball arena. I was in & out 30 minutes which included the 15 minute post-shot observation time. I get my booster shot next Thursday. Hopefully I won't have any reaction to it except for the sore shoulder.

I also got my 2nd Pfizer vaccine. Just a very mild soreness in my left shoulder but nothing else. I'm still doing the mask, hand sanitizer and avoiding crowds. Why switch if I got something that's working even before I got the Vaccine?

Hope it works for you.
I have not and have no plans on being one of the test subjects for all these experimental vaccines.
