Ummm how do you know who has been vaccinated and who hasn't? I definitely wouldn't rely on honesty.

If you are vaccinated, what difference does it make? Of course, I guess nothing is failsafe. I was amazed to hear the statistics of how many who are vaccinated that apparently do not believe in its' effectiveness.

I will gladly show my vaccination card. I had to let the house take a copy of my DL to go on an outdate. This is minor

Correct you don't know. Having two sets of rules, actually will cause more problems for the individual businesses. But what do I know I ain't anybody. We will have to wait and see what decision the individual states and continues will make.

? Why does it matter, if you're vaccinated, you are safe, period. The risk is on those not vaccinated and not wearing the mask.

I don't know why people worry about showing ID, when was the last time you heard of that ever being used or getting out? If that happened it would hurt business. Privacy is paramount because that is how it always has been. I mean working women don't go around posting clients. We wouldn't have any. I'm just saying it is not in our best interest to do anything to hurt our clients.

Two sets of rules could cause situations where someone wearing a mask is automatically believed to not be vaccinated or have covid. You have some assholes out there that would be dicks or ignorant and mess with them. It is not far fetched. Shaming and all that happens all the time. Basically creating two class of people. At least for the time being.

Wrong! The CDC is the one who said ditch the masks. They are the leading federal agency on this, who we listen to. Not Sisolak or Newsom, tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

Governor DeSantis has been an example of how this all should have been handled,  Floridian's are lucky to have him and not one of the idiots above.

Sled the CDC doesn't have the final say the individual states and the counties have the final say. You know that already. You are not going to see mask mandates suddenly go away nation wide just because the CDC said its OK.

Texas lifted their's if I am not mistaken 2 months ago. I'm not sure Florida ever had one.

Here in California there probably won't be any major changes to the mask guidelines till after June 15th. Even though the CDC put out there new recommendation yesterday.

Like it or not the individual states have to decide rather or not to follow the CDC guidelines. Its actually the counties that make the final call. Although the counties usually follow the lead of the states governors.

Part of the reason why this crap went on so long was because each state and county has for the most part been doing there own thing. Every state is different and each individual county has there own guidelines.

Too much federal government may be a bad thing in some things I am not going to debate politics. However a nation wide plan for dealing with the pandemic probably would have made sense. Everyone using the same playbook for covid-19. Would have been a good idea. Instead every state, and every county in each state has been doing its own thing when it comes to dealing with pandemic.

Whatever at this point you will see masks mandates being lifted pretty much everywhere nationwide not just in Nevada over the next  30 to 60 days.

Not that I'm complaining if California fully reopens next month. There is a chance not a good one but a chance just the same I might get my job back. Which will be nice since I can't seem to find a new one that is the right fit for me. I'm also getting tired  of being at home all the time. Add in the fact even though I have been out of work for like 14 months now I still have a hard time even attempting to sleep before 3 am. Too many years on the vampire shift.

I have a friend in Florida that has leukemia. She was vaccinated back in January but it was ineffective as her immune system is so compromised she can't generate the antibodies that the vaccine is supposed to generate.

The fact is that there are many around us like her. That's why we've needed to keep a level of restraint when lifting the regulations.

But the good news is that 99.975% of those that have been hospitalized this year due to COVID were unvaccinated. For most, the vaccine works, and works well.

And yes, I'm looking forward to heading back to a Nevada brothel this summer. Have to make a trip to California the week after the July get together, so working on how to link the trips.

Well, let's hope it works now. I don't know why you have such a hard-on for Slednx. You keep making accounts on Twitter and sending me dm and I just keep banning your retarded ass. I know you are not Ruby because the ladies don't really give a shit about this stuff. You must be some guy out to save a girl or an obsessed fan. This Sled/Ruby shit is old news and nobody here or anywhere wants to hear about it. I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to hear you dragging up old shit either.

She hasn't said anything to me about it so I suspect she has no idea you are going around dredging up some old shit that she probably hasn't thought about. I can't speak for her but I know that when clients do this kind of stuff it gets old because they are treating us like some poor lost lamb. The shit is annoying.

So take a chill pill while I message her.

News this morning on anti-vaxers...

Now the CDC is saying those who are anti-vaxers will still be a threat to those that are vaccinated by creating new strains of the virus that vaccinated people have no immunity to.

I can't win!  : :)

Yes, that's the biggest threat to herd immunity. Just look at what is happening in India and Brazil as prime examples of what variants can do. Heck, the reason it continues to spread here is the British variant infects young people in a way the original virus did not. ITs also why our average age of hospitalizations has dropped to 46 from 68 just 4 months ago.

Fortunately for those that are vaccinated, 99.75% of those that have been hospitalized since Jan 1 for covid haven't been vaccinated.
