The number of homeless in each state.

I'm not going into the how and why of the situation. Just pointing out that homeless is not just a CA. problem. I found this video interesting. Especially when it came to naming the top 4 states for the homeless. I knew CA. would be number one with New York at number two but didn't know Florida was number 3 and Texas was number 4. Whattt----Homeless in Texas? Yup.

Well, if you watched the video all the way thorough, there seemed to be a trend. You would think the poorest states would have the most homeless but it was just the opposite. This leads me to believe that in the poorest states, the cost of living does not go up as much so even a Walmart worker can afford housing. In states like CA. Washington, New York and Florida, the cost of living has went up so much compared to wages, working people can no longer afford housing.

The homeless rate in many of these states would probably be much higher if many hadn't left their state to become homeless in a state with better weather and more hand outs. There's not one simple answer but going at it like it's only just a few states is certainly not the answer. I also don't think to keep throwing money at programs that don't work is the answer either. I would say many/most of these are homeless because they are unemployable. To blame illegals is ridiculous. No, I'm not supporting illegals but they are some of the hardest working people willing to take the worst jobs for the least amount of money trying to make ends meet. American employers forget that part when they hire them at a fraction of what they should be paid. They only remember it when the illegals want to share in The American dream or what's left of it and then talk of massive deportations. If they don't want them here, why hire them in the first place? That's the reason they come---The jobs.

And the Socialist Democrats have no interest in stopping drugs from entering the country. On the contrary, they support laws making all drugs legal. So they truly have and will do nothing to reduce the reason for homeless.

I'm sure there are just as many alcoholics out there as drug users so what do you want to do, make the selling or making of all alcohol illegal? What about mental illness, make that illegal too?
