My favorite western movies are The Searchers with John Wayne, Natalie Wood & Jeffrey Hunter,
The Good, the Bad & the Ugly with Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef & Eli Wallach, and
Once Upon a Time in the West with Charles Bronson, Henry Fonda, Jason Robards & Claudia Cardinale.

Tombstone w/Kurt Russell
True Grit--the original had the Duke, of course, but the recent remake by the Coen Brothers w/Jeff Bridges was good
My Darling Clementine--The Searchers is the all-time classic John Ford western but got to have another one in there
plus the Cavalry Trilogy of Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Rio Grande
Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
Duck! You Sucker! 'cause you gotta have Sergio Leone in there and
Fistful of Dollars for another Clint Eastwood movie

oh, and how could I forget Alan Ladd in Shane

Oh my, I laughed through most of that movie! Just loved it. Also liked, Eldorado, Man Who Shot Liberty Vance, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Fist Full of Dollars, and Pale Rider. Nothing like John or Clint westerns.
It’s 2,000 miles to Nevada, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.

All of those spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood
Stagecoach (the original)
High Noon
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
Cat Ballou

Many of the titles already mentioned are my favorites too.

I think that movie is one of the best movies made , that and Broken Trail and The Cowboys.

Don't know if it is true or not but I heard Bruce had a hard time getting in a movie after he was in the Cowboys.
