Annual Call for LPIN Awards Committee Members[/size]

There are currently five LPIN Awards Committee members, who must obviously be registered voters, including firefighter, highdrive, Little Richard, Mikey and MrTShirt.  The awards committee members’ average age is approximately 60 with the oldest two members being over 70 (guess which two, lol).  Therefore, the awards team needs a transfusion of new blood to continue operation.

The awards committee’s duties include:
*Writing the official rules for the current contest
*Conducting voter registration and updating the registered voter list
*Coordinating the Nomination, Preliminary Voting and Final Voting Rounds
*Verifying, counting and double checking votes
*Printing certificates, banquet programs and ordering Crystal Art Awards
*Contributing $125 to $150 each annually for certificates, frames, Crystal Art Awards and web hosting
*An awards committee member has hosted the annual banquet the last seven years
(Annual Banquet Hosts: Mikey 2018, 2017, & 2016; Goldie 2015 & 2014; Little Richard 2013 & 2012)

The LPIN Awards Committee annual meeting will be held at IB & Sheri’s Annual Picnic on Saturday July 21, 2018 at approximately noon.  LPIN Awards contest supporters should attend the meeting to participate in the discussion, provide suggestions, ideas and hopefully volunteer to serve on the committee.
