Dr, do you remember Mr Norm's Grand Spalding Dodge?  The home of the 9 second street machines?
It's more about the journey than the destination!

Ahhh, a blast from the past!  I remember that place from the '60s to early '70s era.  He became pretty famous creating those muscle cars. 8)

'55 Chevy Bel Aire 2 door, 327, Holley 4 barrel, Borg Warner T-10, with a Hurst Mystery Shifter. I sold it to buy the wedding rings when I was getting married. At times I wish I still and it, but then again it always made me want to race, bad for the insurance, and it was candy apple red, so it was cop magnet. The guy I sold it to totaled a month after he bought it.

Mikey I am so sorry to hear that as I Love the Classic Lines of the 55  . I also think The 327 was One of the best engines ever . The 55 My Parents owned was a Golden Anniversary Car with 4 doors Belair and an Auto and a Sweet 265 that Made it Haul . My Brother got to Drive it a Lot more than I ever did ..  I did see a guy with a Black on Black 55 .. It had a Crate Vette engine and a 5 speed .. He wanted 45 thousand for it .. And Yes if I could have got the car loan in Time it would Be in My Driveway ..

67 Volvo P-1800......  Could not keep up with the real muscle cars in the long run, but in the hands of a skilled driver you could generally blow their doors off up to about 50.....
