Some board handles transfer to real world settings very easily as a nickname that people in public don’t think twice about. Others such as mine when used in a public setting are a bit embarrassing. If I’d have known 8+ years ago that I’d be referred to in public as 69er I may have chosen a different handle. I am still greatful I didn’t go with my first thought “Assman” I can hear it now at the restaurant “Hey Assman, what are you getting”?
Have you ever regretted your handle choice?

Your handle
A Lady can ask any price and the client can always walk. If you accept her offer it's on you so don't bitch about it!

Well "Mikey" was what I started using on the GP's board, and it's the handle I use on all the boards. Oddly enough Michael is actually my middle name on my birth certificate, but everyone knows me as Mike.

Anytime my buddies got out fished when we were kids they called me Crappie Wan Kenobi as Star Wars
was the big deal. They said I could use the force to make them bite for me. Those guys are lifelong friends, so when my boys started going on the trips with us they couldn't pronounce it all so it was shortened to Crappie one.
When I joined the boards, I had no idea that I would ever be introduced by the handle. Crap Pie has given
some good laughs though!

I go by my name, the fact that I'm shy around women, and my birth year of 1987.

Thanks to you Crappie I googled ''how to pronounce crappie fish" and I learned there is a bit of debate to to it and that some people in certain regions call them "freckles". So, some education for me!

Chose mine back in the GPPowers" days.... Back then I had no IDEA about handles or being anonymous. By the time I did, I had been outed once, and all of you knew me by this one.... so......................

My first handle was pinkmofo which was my fire department nickname; however, it has a crude meaning and not sufficiently anonymous. Therefore, I changed my LPIN handle to firefighter since it's my profession, but maybe I should have selected a handle that was completely anonymous.
