Lyons County Votes To Keep Brothels
What's the future of the Moundhouse brothels now that the move to shut them down has been defeated? Who knows? I know one thing. Just having that on the ballot was a close call and if LPIN doesn't get it's act together this will happen again and it may not go the same way.
It's important to note that voters did not vote to keep the brothels because they were concerned about the girls losing their jobs. It was about money. The County would lose a significant source of income. A very significant amount. Don't delude yourself into thinking it had anything to do with the rights of women because it didn't. The overwhelming majority of society thinks prostitution is immoral
This was not a fight to advance anything. It was a fight to survive and there is a big difference. The fight to change the perception of the public through mass circus media is not what we need and it is not what got this voted down. I will detail some more of this in another post soon.

It’s time Brothel owners work together to repair the Damage Dennis has done it the past. They need to get a professional voice out front who will be able to lobby state politicians in case the full statewide anti Brothel vote starts to become a reality.
I’m small rural counties the amount of money that Brothels pay in Lic fees etc and the traffic they generate is vital to the counties coffers and that is a huge reason they didn’t lose in Lyon. Where would Lyon co make up just the 1/2 Million they would have lost if it had passed? Never mind all the house staff out of work and the lack of tourist income? Tourist income can be debated but it is there

A Lady can ask any price and the client can always walk. If you accept her offer it's on you so don't bitch about it!

Let me say this. In a worst case scenario the serious working girls would be picked up by any brothel. The ones that are not really that serious would leave. Through attrition I don't think it would be too bad.

Maybe those girls that had the "daddy" issue, or now the "mommy" issue will go back home to their real daddy and mommy.Rachel Varga link wrote: Let me say this. LPIN should be reserved for courtesans (and patrons) that are mature.

You have to understand, that's part of the game. It's not the girls that are immature, it was D. Everyone sit on his lap or kiss him on the cheek as you leave the meeting.
I don't remember Suzette ever requiring that and among women you might call and older woman mama if she is close and kind of like one.

I'm just happy for the ladies and employees of the establishments in Lyon County
It’s 2,000 miles to Nevada, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.

Yeah, it is less disrupting for them and they don't have to worry anymore.
