Selfies aren't reverse. Take a pic normally then flip the phone around take the same pic. They will be the same orientation.

Someone may have flipped it because a pic might look better flipped. It is very easy in most programs. Looks better sometimes. There is a pic with Max and I like that. Two pics side by side. The angle was the same on both so I flipped one and the composition was much better.

Thru experimentation I have learned depending on phone and app the pic is taken in sometimes it is correct others it is reversed.


I thought they were always reversed because so often I see selfies with ppl who are wearing shirts with words and the words are reversed


To further clarify my confusion. I have friends who post selfie videos they make while driving on Facebook, in these videos the drivers window is on their right and the passenger seat is on their left. These people do not drive right hand drive cars. Could it be that Facebook revereses the video? IDK all I know is I’m not crazy!

Yes?
You see it as looking in a mirror. A reflection image. So what is on your right will be visually on your right in the pic when looking at it. Simple example is if words are on the shirt then the words are backwards. In a normal pic you can read the words, in the mirror’d pic they are backwards

Not sure what you mean. The first is with the regular camera and the second is with the selfie camera.

I’ve found it has to do with the app.
Snapchat, instagram Facebook Done in selfie mode the “Ford” would be backwards like looking in a mirror..
Where a shirt with writing on it and look in tune mirror you will see what I mean

Yes and that’s what Snapchat, instagram Facebook and others do when taking selfies in those appps. That’s why I thought selfies were always flipped because I see so many pics taken in those apps

And those programs show an utter failure in programming. A regular camera and Twitter work fine. Either way,  if you take the pic in a mirror it's flipped so that's not a valid test.

Conclusion: A phone camera and Twitter are fine. Instagram is a bunch of dumbasses.

The mirror pic was not meant to be a valid test, it was just to show what I see when ppl post pics from those apps.


The test was done by my daughter in those apps to confirm what I was seeing
