Been cold n freezing here, inside of the house below freezing,  n pipes frozen.  Dauchand was miserable n the snow...lol. looked up at me n cursed me im sure.."we moved here from California!"  Lol

Been wout power more than 30 hrs, looks like its been up n down..no sexual pun intended.

Here's the latest update video on the feller driving from CA. to Florida.  He's still in Texas and running in to many problems trying to travel.  However, it sounds like he's happy having found both a Buc-ees and Stuckey's for all his snacks. His biggest problems have been ice making it impossible to drive along with no power meaning no gas or ATM's in certain places.  Fascinating videos while I sit in the warmth of my house sipping on my coffee.[/size]

Here on the Texas gulf coast. 

We were without power for about 75 hrs.  Got power back at 3:45AM.  Had no phone service for 48 hrs.  Not much water still.
If you don't like the way I'm livin then leave this long haired country boy alone.

Bad deal in the South.  No power.  Not only loss of electricity, but also shortage of natural gas.

Looks like one needs a generator and heater using LP from a big tank out in the back yard.

Back in August had a derecho come through the Mid West and lost power for 10 days (internet for 24 days).  However, it was August and didn't have to worry about frozen pipes or heat.
