Very interesting. I am not horny all the time but now that I'm in my 30s I am very confident to be the initiator. Because of my conservative upbringing I was scared for a long time that expressing you wanted sex was slutty. Also, even though I obviously care about being a good lover, I am no longer preoccupied with the man's experience, and not afraid to say what I want (I do phrase it "I really like when you ___" as opposed to ''no, do this", though. Unless someone licks my ear. That's like putting a spider on me I can't stand it).
Oddly enough even though I am older and heavier than I used to be, I am more confident. And I will party with a lady one day! Rachel, don't retire for at least 5 years.

I agree with you Chuckar. I keep telling people when it’s my time to go, transport me from E28 to the morgue. I’m going out in this world with a smile on my face, a reese’s peanut butter cup in one hand, a donut in the other, and a bucket of fried chicken in that coffin.

I would say politics and sex have nothing to do with each other. Many people are ignorant of sex, whether they are conservative or liberal. Further, I suspect the (typically) men can't handle sex and won't admit they lack of ability or even comfort towards sex. They may use "conservative" politics to cover up their sexual ignorance.
You can also look at religion. Celibacy in the ministry was never a part of the Bible in times of old. Even in the Catholic church priests married up till the middle ages. Then a leader had sex problems, and then cooled his dick in a freezing river. Then he forbid priests from then on to marry. The Bible does say "to go forth and multiply". The Song of Solomon is considered a love song, with hints of oral sex. One minister was surprised to learn that one of his partitioner, an 80 year old lady, still had an interest in sex.
In reality, during church services, the minister should call for a break in services so the couples can have a "fuck session".
Look at science, specifically evolution. If the believers of evolution were honest with themselves, they would have abandoned the theory of evolution, bases on the existence of the female orgasm. A female orgasm was viewed as not necessary to make babies. Evolution demands traits that only exist for an identifiable purpose. Regardless of their "intelligence" they never figured out how stupid they looked. (I'll give you a heads up, medical science finally out the purpose of a female orgasm.) (Some time ago, I posted a subject on "Is An Orgasm Is A Synchronous or Asynchronous Event?" that hinted at this subject.)
Sex is no different than music, dancing, eating fish, sitting on the beach or star gazing. Do it as much as it works for you.
Tying sex to other things in life are often done by people looking for a group to a) follow them, b) finance them and c) the leadership have their own sex problems.

T-shirt, thank you for the thoughtful post but I didn't mean politically conservative.
More that they were very by the book, straight laced people with a very old-fashioned good-girls-dont-do-this sort of attitude. They don't think talking about politics is polite and never discussed them with me. They dislike any sort of extremism and actually didn't vote for the first time in their lives in 2016 because they felt both candidates were radicals. They are good people but very....mild and fearful. So I grew up to be sort of a doormat in the beginning of my young adult life. Luckily I've learned from my mistakes and rebelled since.

During a recent party this kind of came up. We discussed how she’d get my body out of the house discreetly! Also decided if it were ever a concern that I shouldn’t be on top because I’d crush her if I had a heart attack during the act! Lol
Of course I could think of no better way to go than during sex with a beautiful Lady!

I agree, I like it when a Lady gives me a little direction. I’m a pleaser in the bedroom, I enjoy our mutual pleasure so if there’s something she would like to help her attain that then I’d love for her to share
