Wow that is really cool. My wife and I love hiking. I wouldn’t have expected waterfalls in Nevada. We may have to come see Elko.

We went 3 days in a row to the waterfall trail we found. it's pretty cool it's 3 mile in and 3 miles back out to complete that one trail. I never thought we would make it LOL

Been riding the Ruby Mountains for over 25 years now. Make at least two trips a year out there every winter. Some of the best technical riding in the west.

By western standards, the Ruby range is quite small. It is steep though with lots of elevation gain. Also, one of the most avalanche prone ranges. Early avalanche airbags were tested in the Rubies. A few winters back, the bowls surrounding Lamoille Lake all slid and broke the ice , causing the lake to flood the whole area below it. It was quite the scene, all those huge chards of ice frozen everywhere. Our access to the backcountry through Liberty Pass was inaccessible that year.

then come home to the Dovetail and get wasted on women’s beauty...
