Hey Gang. 

We've wondered what the law says, and/or what the brothels would feel about a 3rd party "travel host" who works to makes clients comfortable in visiting the brothels. 

It seems there's a lot of hesitation from folks to visit for the first time because of fear of the unknown, as well as so many of the mysteries that can't be talked about outside of the brothels. 

We wonder if this creates an opening for some local and experienced host, to connect with newbies up front and coach them through the process, as well as shuttle them and even make on site suggestions regarding their knowledge of the ladies and experiences with them. 

To your knowledge, has this ever been done?

Not just driving the shuttle, but even more. 

Like tour guides.  Take them in, introduce them to the ladies, share their intel about the ladies. 

Kind of like a "Live BrothelLife" post.... but real time and in person! 

Of course, the sex part of the event they could leave - but until then, they would be there to consult the newbie visitor.

Casino’s have hosts why not brothers? Just need to make sure the host is just showing them the ropes etc & staying out of negotiations etc.

Best bet is to ask questions of experienced fellow enthusiasts or try to coordinate your visits with their visits.  Coordinating visits with theirs could be difficult.

If you are talking about professional guides, there is no established standing for this. A guide would have to be someone who was familiar with the houses and the ladies.

So, are you planning on financially compensating the guide?  Because they are going to have to get paid from somewhere. 

An extension of the "Kelly fare".
But, for the timid, an option.

We aren't thinking of it for ourselves, and didn't spend any time sweating the details or how compensation would work.  We were just wondering if any experienced and entrepreneurial local has ever considered it or done it. 

In past years and while on the other board, I actually had done this for a few newbies. Typically, they would PM me if we could meet up while they were in town. We would have a few drinks or dinner at a place outside the ranch like Bully's in Carson. Talk in detail about how to handle negotiations as well as any Intel on the lady he was interested in seeing.

The few times, they always thanked me and said it was a big help. To me, it was cool and no big deal as often I would go see an ATF while there. Times were different back then, the ladies were more open to negotiations, prices were more friendly and I certainly was more into LPIN than I am currently.

BTW- never asked for compensation, I am a local and liked meeting new members and they always picked up the tab at the bar and grill.

I actually think this is a pretty amazing idea.  My wife and I will be visiting a brothel for the first time in February and we're intimidated as hell.  At the same time, I don't want to drink to take the edge off... want to keep all of my senses

This is the kind of good idea that can go really bad.

In the end, you usually get someone that would charge newbies a big price that becomes like a "Kelly Fare" that everybody knows and "loves".

Second, the someone starts arm twisting the girls for special pricing on their own parties because they will bring the girls "a lot of parties".

This has already happen on the forums where a disgruntled guy starts trashing a girl and her business because he didn't get a price break for a "good review".

Also, a comment was made about the "big sister" arrangement.  Some big sisters actually help  the  new girl.  Other "big sisters" tell the  new girl to keep her prices high.  The new girl has no parties, goes into debt, and leaves broke.  The "big sister" smiles and says "Mission accomplished, no new competition".

I've been thinking along those same lines too ...LOL.  It could be a disaster in the making, just like the Kelly fares.

If someone is looking for a "tour guide" or someone to act as a "wingman/wingwoman" to show them the ropes, it's probably best to get to know some of the board members who visit the brothels often (some may even be locals) and try to meet up at one of the brothels when you are in town.  Attending brothel gathering like those during awards week is also a good way to learn more about the houses, ladies, and the ins and outs of LPIN.  Some of us also plan small brothel crawls during the year like ChicagoBob recently did and that's another way to meet fellow mongers and pick up a few tips on brothel hopping.  We often encourage newbs to attend these events, if they're reluctant to visit the houses on their own. 8)

Yup... if we are ever lucky enough to spend any amount of significant time with Ms Roxy Gold, without you fine gentleman GEO'ing her away while we are chatting, we wouldn't need any other recommendations as to who to party with.
