This is the trip that was not in the plans. This trip to the brothels was never supposed to have happened. The Eight Experience(s) had been two years prior due to my bowling tournament taking me to New York state in 2018. 2017 had ended on such a perfect note that deep in my heart, I had hoped that I wouldn't need to return. I did say that I would've liked to had come out on a special trip for my birthday in 2018 but I knew that it would never be able to happen. Ultimately, two of the ladies that I wanted to spend time with for that year ended up leaving the business with the other one's future being real hazy. However, in June of 2017, I had met someone who would eventually become a best friend but the end result was that she used me to get her to wherever she needed to go. Some of you may remember that I had done a rant post on her in the early fall of that year. Those very close to me know the story. But in the end, I had finally had enough and moved on and in a very short time, had started talking to someone else who more less kinda saved me and put me back together from that heartbreak. But in a very short amount of time, she ended up using me for everything that she could, to the point where she nearly put me in debt. Deep inside, I knew I needed to be done with her but I was literally doing everything I could to stay in this with the hopes of something actually starting. But I was on my last leg literally, nearly driven insane, and with this trip to Las Vegas in April of 2019, I decided to reach out to a couple ladies to see if maybe I could get something going so that I could have some fun that I so desperately needed. So without further ado, the trip that turned into the ninth experience(s).
APRIL 20 (Saturday)
The previous two days had been spent getting everything all packed up so that I could leave this day as early as I possibly could. I left my driveway at 5:18am and drove as far as Georgetown, Colorado. I got into Denver just as it was getting dark and of course once you get out of Denver, you're going straight into the mountains and that's the one thing that scares me more than anything, driving in the mountain in the dark. But I made it to Georgetown and of course, I stopped at the same hotel with all the memory foam mattresses that I hate at the good old America's Best Value Inn. But I was so tired that I fell asleep in quick fashion. Luckily I hadn't run into any snow and there wasn't supposed to be any snow at all for the trip to Vegas.
APRIL 21 (Sunday)
As soon as I woke up, I took off because my goal was to not get to Las Vegas, but to get to Pahrump. I got into Pahrump at about 5pm and stopped at the Pahrump Nugget. I had done a search on my phone looking for the cheapest hotels and the Nugget was it so I went there to get a room and when they told me the prices, I asked about the search result that they showed up in and they told me that if I reserve a room through a different website, I can get that discover so that's what I did. I found a chair nearby, made that reservation, and waited until they got the notification. In total, it took at most ten minutes. I had saved about $40 on the room. Yeah, it was definitely worth it. So I got checked in and got a good shower and took off for the Chicken Ranch.
PARTY WITH AVERY LEE
This was a party that was two years in the making. When she was Riley Zane at Love Ranch North, we had had minimal conversation on the boards and honestly, she just didn't really seem like the kind of girl I would get along with. But when Jade had introduced us and we started talking, there was a connection that was amazing. Everytime I was in the building that week, she would be out spending time with me even though she knew I wasn't going to be partying with her because I had all my parties scheduled for that week. But she didn't care, she just wanted to spend time with me just talking and getting to know each other. But when I left for home, she ended up leaving shortly herself and would be very scarce for the next however long it was. She had made her return but this time under a new name and at the Chicken Ranch so I made a surprise visit. She actually recognized me as she was walking to her room. She came back out and we started talking and it was like old times. We would talk for several hours before we had our party and that party was just wonderful. I had a very very good time and it was well worth the two year wait. After the party, I went back to my hotel and had no trouble getting to sleep that night.
APRIL 22 (Monday)
I woke up and had breakfast at Carl Jr's and went to Sheri's Ranch and met up with Roxanne Price and talked to her for a little bit. Then I went back to Chicken Ranch and spent a couple hours talking to Avery. We had a great conversation which included working at a puzzle factory and mixing some of the pieces in different boxes. We laughed until we cried. But alas, it had to come to an end because I needed to get going and back to Vegas so that I could meet up with my buddies that I was going to be bowling with this week. I got to South Pointe Hotel And Casino and had lunch at the Steak N Shake there and would meet up with some of my buddies. I had met up with Shawn, Dave, and his nephew BZ at the Stratosphere. From there, we drove up to Freemont Street and spent several hours just walking up and down the street, taking in all the entertainers out there. There are a lot of talented musicians out there, one of them was playing Hotel California on a cello. Simply amazing. The overhead zipline was very intriguing and I was wanting to do it but because we had all just ate a big lunch, I wasn't going to take my chances. But after experiencing Freemont Street, we decided to call it a night, it was already pushing midnight. We went back to the Stratosphere and I took off and went to Wendy's to get myself a Sprite and went back to South Point.
APRIL 23 (Tuesday)
Today was the first day of bowling. It was the 40 Frame Game Tournament.
Now for those who don't what kind of tournament it is, it's basically four games rolled up into one non-stop game where each frame has a special gimmick. To make a long explanation short, frames 1, 8, 11, 13, 22, 24, and 30 are no-tap frame, which means if you knock down 9 pins, it will count as a strike. Frames 2, 9, 12, 16, 20, 25, 33, and 38 are bonus frames, which means if you get a strike, you will get an additional ten pins each added to your score. Frames 3, 5, 19, 21, 34, and 35 are called Pay Day frames. If you get a strike, you will get cash back at the end of the squad, how much you get back depends on how many people are bowling during your squad, and how many payday frames were actually hit. Frames 4, 7, 15, 17, 23, 27, 29, and 31 are Super Grape frames, which means if you don't get a strike, you lose 2 pins for each pin you leave. For example, if you knock down 8 pins, you will lose 4 pins. Frames 6, 10, 14, 18, 26, 28, 32, and 37 are called Mulligan Frames. If you don't like your first shot, you can shoot that first over again. Frame 36 is the Big Kahuna Frame, if you get a strike, you will get an additional 25 pins added to your score. Frame 39 is the Super Sour Frame, if you don't get a strike, for every pin left standing, you will lose 5 pins per pin left. And finally, the 40th frame is the Bingo-Bango-Bongo Frame, this frame gives you a chance to win money...if you strike your first ball, you will win money (Bingo), if you strike your second ball after the first, you get more money (Bango), if you miss the second strike, you do not get a chance for Bongo. See how it works? I've always had a lot fun bowling in it, and one year a few years ago, I actually finished in the top 500 out of some 10,000 bowlers. Very proud of that accomplishment. For more information on this, go to www.40framegame.com. A perfect game is a 1305. This year I didn't do as well as I usually do, did not even cash this time. Out of a possible 42 strikes, I only had 23. Scratch wise, I only shot an 807 and with handicap, I had an 864. Far below the cash cut line.
After the tournament, we all went our seperate ways for a few hours, my buddy Shawn and I went to eat dinner at the Garden Buffet and after that, I was lounged around in my room until I went to sleep.
APRIL 24 (Wednesday)
I woke up and had breakfast at the Coronado Cafe and meet up with the guys at the bowling center for the USBC National Tournament. As it was the time I was here, it takes a long time to get to the bowling center but luckily with me actually staying there, it wasn't quite as long but it was still a bit of a walk. And this time, the horizontal escalators were all working which was going to be a big help for the older bowlers. This is my nineteenth years bowling in this tournament so next year is going to be a milestone for me. I'm supposed to be receiving a plague recognizing my participation for next year. But first I have to get through this year. For the team event, I bowled games of 199, 157, 140 for a 496 series, which was actually decent for me. I knew where I needed to throw my ball and the angle I had to throw it was more like how I normally do back home on a house shot. But the line was still very thin so if I missed by one board on either side, I wasn't going to get the ball into the pocket. When the tournament was over, I ate dinner at the Garden Buffet again and went to bed early.
APRIL 25 (Thursday)
Up early because the doubles and singles event was to start at 7am. For the doubles event, I bowled games of 155, 202, and 146 for a 503 series. For singles, I shot 161, 192, 152 for a 505 series. My all events total was a 1504 which was one of my higher all event scores. This was definitely the most consistent year I've ever had so I was very happy altogether.
After everyone was done, my buddy Shawn and I went to Steak N Shake to have lunch before I was to take off for Amargosa Valley. Shawn and I sat and talked for a long time before we were done eating and we went our seperate ways. Little did I know that that was the last time I would ever see my friend Shawn. Sadly, two months later, he would pass away.
I got on Highway 95 and headed for Amargosa Valley but before I got there, I took a quick turn on 160 to head down to Crystal to drive to Love Ranch South to see how it looks. It still looks like it could have been in business just the day before because nothing had been overgrown or anything like that. It was sad just I had a wonderful time two years earlier there, including an amazing party that wasn't planned.
I went to Alien Cathouse and I had just walked in and met up with Lena Haze when I got a called from one of my guys from my paranormal investigation team needing to talk business. We had a team meeting almost two weeks before and they wanted to fill me in on of the topics we had discussed that another person was working on and let me know of their progress. Perfect timing right? Oh well, I was on the phone with them for about twenty minutes or so and we all hung up and I went back inside and met Lena again. She took me on a tour of the entire place and showed me what areas they wanted me to focus on. I had brought my DVR system with the cameras and they had closed off half of the building for me. After setting up, I was able to talk with Lena, Lisa Grace, Brooklyn Monroe, and Candy Kiss. At one point, Lena wanted me to do an EVP (electronic voice phenomena) session in her room so I went in there for a little while and conducted one. Then I came out and talked to her and some of the other girls for a little while and then I went back in for a second EVP session but this time I had her come in with me so that she could ask some questions herself. After a while, I decided to call it a night and go sleep in one of the bungalows they provided for me.
